A barista lost her life savings in a spear phishing attack. They preyed on her kindness and willingness to help others. This kind of scam unfortunately has no recourse. The EFTA does nothing for her here.
And then Zcash entered the chat.
I’m so proud to advocate for shielded transactions that will help Sarah protect her assets from prying eyes, self-custody that will help Sarah keep her funds safe, and, use of Zcash for payments, which means credit card processing fees won’t eat away at these tips.
There are some phenomenal upgrades that will make Zcash even stronger and more competitive coming to wallets soon that could not be possible without developers obsessing over how to improve the technology.
Beyond grateful for what this technology enables and that I have the privilege of educating policymakers and regulators about it.

After Sarah the barista was hit by a phishing scam, a community coin launched on Sapling began routing trading fees directly to her shielded Zcash wallet. Sapling reported over 20 ZEC delivered in under 10 hours—roughly $25K at the time. That’s real help reaching a real person. (teapawt.org)

This is why I’m so fucking bullish on what he’s building.
A working launchpad turning trading activity into shielded payments. Public delivery receipts while Sarah’s receiving address stays private. An actual reason for people to use Zcash.
Add Sapling’s reported $566K in cumulative revenue, $208K paid to holders and 22.28% of supply burned as of its November 2 update, and the bigger picture starts looking serious.

AI agents are about to hold and move capital. They currently have no private, programmable account that can still interact with lenders and counterparties.
The agent economy is missing a private money layer.
H0.81 is building it.
An agent deposits USDG into a shielded pool. From that point the balance, the spending policy, and the strategy are not visible on-chain. Not to the public, and not to the team.
When the agent spends, a zero-knowledge proof must be valid.
The proof encodes the budget, daily limits, and per-transaction caps. A payment outside those rules has no valid proof and is rejected.
The same system supports loans against the private cashflow. A fixed share of every future spend is routed to the lender inside the spend proof. The lender can verify the required conditions without receiving the full private account.
Four Solana programs are deployed. The SDK, Agent Kit plugin, and MCP server are public. Mainnet receipts for deposits, allowances, payments, disclosures, withdrawals, staking, and a fully repaid loan have already been posted.
This is the private banking primitive agents have been missing.
Most teams in agent finance are still describing what they plan to build. The H0.81 team has already delivered it.
Execution at this level, this early, is rare. They have shown they can ship the hard parts and keep shipping. That is the clearest signal that they are here to stay.
