10X Challenge Update: It has been a roller coaster over the past few weeks. We had to switch positions frequently because most of the price movements were not organic. Since we started, most of the coins we traded have corrected by 40–50%, making them extremely difficult to trade. Sticking to old coins was challenging, while moving into new coins came with its own risks. We diversified into new coins, caught a few good moves, and managed to take our wallet to 2.5x even while the market was bleeding. However, this latest news has completely changed our challenge calculations. For perspective, a member who started with $100 currently has a realised wallet of around $50. Our running positions were designed to take that wallet to 5x. Based on the current realised balance, this has effectively become a 20X challenge. If anyone wants to join at this stage, understand that the target is now 20x from the current realised wallet. DM.

The biggest issue with the current market is that old/dino coins have been dead for weeks. No volume, no movement, and barely any of them are making it to the top gainers. Almost all the movements is in new, low cap coins doing 2–5x within hours or a few days. The problem is that they hit the top gainers after just a small volume spike, making entries difficult. And even if you enter, how do you know whether the move has more room to run or if it is just a pump and dump? I have seen both sides. AIN did another 2x within hours after my entry, even though I entered when it was already up around 80% and on the top gainers list. On the other hand, I have entered coins when they were up just 20%, only to watch them retrace the entire move. Honestly, trading alts in this market is extremely difficult, especially for traders with small funds who rely on leverage to generate meaningful gains. The margin for error is already small, and distinguishing a genuine move from a pump and dump makes things even harder. You have to take risks, but finding the right balance between catching a move and avoiding a trap is becoming increasingly challenging.
