Everyone always gets bullish about buybacks.
But they don’t guarantee a higher price.
A project can put 99% of its revenue into buybacks & still see its token price fall.
Example:
→ $1M in monthly buybacks
→ $5M of tokens unlocking that month
→ If just 20% of those get sold, the buybacks are wiped out.
Buybacks create demand. Emissions can create selling pressure.
So before buying a token for its buybacks - check revenue & emissions too.

Could Solana Mobile introduce SKR buybacks? 📱
I ran the numbers to see what it would take.
~143M SKR could enter circulation each month on average over the next three years.
Buybacks would add a separate source of recurring demand - they could be funded by:
→ A cut of fees from swaps, staking & other services on Seeker
→ Paid promotion for apps that want extra visibility
→ Integration or licensing fees from phone makers using the Solana Mobile Stack
Once that revenue becomes recurring, I think a fixed share could fund buybacks:
More devices → more revenue → more buybacks → more SKR demand

🚨JUST IN: Apple hints at adding stablecoin support, potentially allowing CRYPTO payments via Apple Pay.
Apple posted a job listing requiring stablecoin expertise for payment roles, offering up to $280,000.
This follows Samsung’s plans to introduce the same feature to Samsung Wallet.
