It discussed a fundraising dinner for KindHearts, a charity whose fundraiser had been indicted in the Holy Land Foundation Hamas case and which the Senate Finance Committee had already flagged in its terror-financing inquiry. El-Sayed’s own signed piece in the chapter newsletter called for metro Detroit’s Muslim community to become “the point of nucleation for global unification” in service of the worldwide Ummah.
