12 of Massachusetts’ 14 sheriffs just warned Governor Healey that her new ICE law could let people facing murder, rape, and kidnapping charges walk out of jail with zero notice to federal authorities.
The law generally blocks jails from giving ICE advance notice when someone is released. The only exception is for people who have already finished a sentence for certain serious violent felonies. That exception does not cover pretrial detainees.
The sheriffs say this is already happening. In the data they sampled, every relevant detainee was facing violent charges. Fourteen of them had bail set at $1,000 or less, some as low as $500 on kidnapping or domestic assault charges. One pretrial detainee in Worcester County is wanted by Interpol for murder abroad, with bail set at $500.
If ICE doesn’t get a heads-up while the person is still in custody, agents may have to try to find them later in the community. The sheriffs say that creates avoidable risks for the public, law enforcement, and bystanders.
They’re asking for a limited fix so that when a pretrial detainee with an ICE detainer is facing serious violent charges, federal authorities at least get notified before the person is released.
Shouldn't this have already been part of the law?

Washington DC is continuing to allow illegal immigrants to register and vote in their local elections, including for Mayor, Attorney General, DC Council members, and other offices!
This stems from DC's Local Resident Voting Rights Amendment Act of 2022, effective since 2024, which permits ILLEGAL residents to vote in local elections. The DC Board of Elections provides a dedicated illegal voter registration form.
In June 2025, the U.S. House passed H.R. 884 (266-148) to repeal this law and ban illegals voting in DC elections, with 56 Democrats joining Republicans. The bill remains PENDING in the Senate right now.
Wisconsin Congressman Tom Tiffany has repeatedly highlighted this issue: "They got their official non-citizen voter registration application. So there it is, the U.S. Capitol has turned over control of its government in part to foreign nationals legally and illegally present in our nation's capital!"
"What country would allow its foreign capital to be controlled by foreigners? This Capitol does, and it's done with the sufferance of Congress."

🚨#BREAKING: A mother is speaking out after a doctor in Arizona will face NO CRIMINAL CHARGES after he pronounced her 18-month-old baby as DECEASED and left him in a freezing hospital morgue for FIVE AND A HALF HOURS...
...BUT HER BABY WAS STILL ALIVE.
Baby Vincent was pulled from a backyard pool where doctors at Mercy Gilbert worked on him, and at 6:20 p.m., Dr. Aryan Toosi pronounced him de*d.
His parents said goodbye to their baby.
...but then a nurse said, "I have a pulse."
Police officers standing there heard the baby GASP.
Not once. Multiple times over the course of an hour.
And when an officer tried to tell the doctor the child might still be alive?
Per the report, the doctor "arrogantly" told him:
"I'm the doctor. I have the medical degree. I went to medical school for a reason. Let me do my thing."
So they put that living, breathing baby in the "cold room" morgue!!!!!
The room is kept at 36 degrees.
And there he stayed... FOR FIVE AND A HALF HOURS.
It wasn't until the medical examiner's transport team who showed up near MIDNIGHT to move a "body" and found the baby STILL BREATHING.
Little baby Vincent ended up surviving.
But sadly, he suffered serious brain damage, and his family says he'll need care for the rest of his life.
A baby was left to freeze in a morgue while he was still alive... because a doctor was too arrogant to listen to a nurse and 2 police officers.
And as of right now, that doctor faces NO criminal charges.

if you were 30 by August 2011, you hit 18 in 1999--a year PRIOR to 2000 when you falsely claimed to have derived your citizenship from your father's supposed naturalization (of which ICE has no record).
An adult 18 year old CANNOT derive citizenship from their naturalized parent.
You are not, and never have been a US citizen. You cannot Constitutionally serve as a US Congresswoman. You have no legal right to even be present in my nation.
