We’re kicking off 10 years of @RippleSwell with a bang!
1/ Goes without saying, but it was an honor to open up our conference with @SecScottBessent. His leadership, alongside the current administration, has been instrumental in ensuring that responsible crypto can thrive in the US. I’m extremely grateful he spent time with us today.
2/ BIG partner news 🚨 we're bringing Ripple’s infrastructure to @RobinhoodApp (supporting both customer-facing services and core financial operations), from $RLUSD settlement on the @XRP Ledger to prime brokerage and treasury operations & expanding our relationship with @BNYglobal across custody and tokenized trade finance with RLUSD, XRP and the XRP Ledger.
3/ We are bringing digital assets to corporates 👀 → Ripple Treasury introduced 24/7 Returns designed to help corporates put idle cash to work outside banking hours utilizing stablecoins (this is one step further to realizing the vision of our Treasury management business).
4/ Last but certainly not least, @USOCC granted final approval for Ripple National Trust Bank!
And it’s only day 0 (technically the Swell main event starts tomorrow!). More to come this week…

This Is Going To Be Historic:
The Treasury Secretary does not attend a crypto conference as a courtesy. He attends when the architecture needs a public face to certify that the transition is government-sanctioned. Bessent is the institutional seal on the Ripple Trust Bank charter. His presence confirms the OCC approval was not a bureaucratic drift it was a deliberate positioning.
WHY TODAY IS THE REAL START
Not January. Not December. Today.
The Swell conference is the soft launch of the new financial layer. The announcements that drop this week are not policy proposals. They are operational status updates disguised as thought leadership.
What to watch for?
Bessent's framing of "digital dollar infrastructure" He will not mention Iraq or the RV directly. He will describe the legal and technical readiness for sovereign stablecoin conversions. The language will be generic. The audience will know exactly who he is talking about.
Also look for Ripple's announcement of the first institutional RLUSD deployment Not a trial. Not a pilot.
A live deployment with a sovereign or quasi-sovereign partner. The natural question is: who is the first client? If it is a Gulf state or an oil-based economy, you have your answer.
DTCC mention during any panel.
The tokenization vault will be referenced indirectly. "Settlement finality." "Asset-backed digital instruments." "Programmable reserves." These are the code words.
Bessent has been operating as the architect of what he publicly called the "grand economic reorder" a phrase that drew eye-rolls from mainstream financial analysts who treated it as rhetorical flourish. It wasn't. The GENIUS Act (Government Electronic Natively Issued & Universal Stablecoin Act) created the legal scaffold. Ripple's OCC approval yesterday created the institutional vehicle. Swell is the platform where the two connect publicly for the first time, with the man who designed the framework standing next to the company that built the rails.
Bessent wouldn't share a stage with Brad Garlinghouse unless Treasury had already signed off on the integration architecture. What he's doing today is not announcing policy he's confirming that the infrastructure phase is complete and the transition phase begins. His speech won't say "dinar revaluation." It will say things about "modernizing cross-border settlement," "bringing dollar infrastructure into the digital age," "ensuring American leadership in digital finance." Those are the approved talking points.

Final OCC approval for Ripple National Trust Bank is the result of a simple choice we made years ago: build within the regulatory perimeter, not around it.
Clear rules + rigorous oversight create trust. And trust is what allows new financial infrastructure to scale.
Big news heading into @RippleSwell: the @USOCC has granted final approval for Ripple National Trust Bank.
This gives Ripple a federally supervised platform to support $RLUSD and provide digital asset custody to enterprises.
We’ve always said crypto and banks work better together — this is what that looks like. Real innovation, real accountability, federal oversight.
The revolution isn't happening outside the system. It's happening from within it.

Listen to what the President of Ripple just said, because she said it calmly and most people will scroll straight past it.
Pools of XRP, loaned into the pool, used as collateral, to fund payments for Ripple's customers.
Her words: payments credit meets the XRP Ledger.
Here is why that sentence is bigger than it sounds.
Every cross-border payment in the world has the same hidden problem, and it is not speed. It is credit. Somebody has to front the money before the payment settles. For centuries that somebody has been a bank, and the right to be that somebody is the single most profitable position in global finance. You do not make your money moving the payment. You make it owning the capital that sits in the gap.
That gap is what ODL was always aimed at. Source the liquidity at the moment of the transfer, stop parking dead capital in accounts around the world.
What Monica is describing is the next floor up. Not just sourcing the liquidity — financing it. A pool of XRP on a public ledger, posted as collateral, standing behind the credit that moves real money for real institutional customers.
Read that again. The collateral is XRP. Not a bank's balance sheet. Not a correspondent's prefunded account. XRP.
That is the moment the asset stops being something a payment passes through and becomes something the payment is secured against. Bridge assets get used and released. Collateral gets held.
And the pool is the part nobody is talking about yet. A lending pool on a public ledger is open. Whoever supplies it is on the other side of credit that used to be issued exclusively from behind a bank's doors.
Five hundred years of trade finance, and the one function that was never, ever going to leave the banking system is being described on a conference stage in Seoul as a protocol feature.
Fair warning, so nobody gets ahead of themselves: she said "when that's activated." The lending protocol is not live. This is Ripple's President describing what they are building, not announcing a launch.
But they do not put the President on stage to float ideas. They put her there to tell you the direction.
Follow the liquidity. Then ask who issues the credit behind it.

Passwords are the weakest part of most systems. People reuse them, they leak in breaches, and every site you use is storing one on a server that might eventually be compromised.
DigiByte has had an alternative to this for years. It is called Digi-ID.
The site shows a QR code. You scan it with your wallet and approve with a PIN or fingerprint. The wallet signs the request with a key that never leaves your device, and the site verifies the signature and logs you in.
Nothing to remember. Nothing for the site to store. No name, phone number or date of birth sent, because the authenticator never had them.
It also generates a different address for every site, so two services cannot compare records and work out they are dealing with the same person. That login address is separate from your coins.
Most people in crypto still have not heard of it.
The focus is no longer on $XRP as a speculative asset. The focus is on the XRP Ledger as infrastructure.
Most people viewed XRP as a token that might appreciate if Ripple gained adoption. Japan’s recent actions point to a different model. SBI and its partners are building a full financial stack in which XRP is one component inside a much larger operating system.
That system now includes RLUSD in Japan through the August 22, 2025 MoU between SBI Holdings, Ripple, and Standard Custody & Trust Company. It includes SBI VC Trade’s March 18, 2026 launch of Japan’s first licensed USDC lending service, offering an initial 10% annualized promotional rate and a regular rate around 5%. It includes the February 20, 2026 announcement of SBI’s 10 billion yen security token bond, issued on the BOOSTRY “ibet for Fin” platform and providing XRP benefits to investors. It includes JPYSC, the trust bank backed yen stablecoin developed by Startale Group and SBI, with issuance through Shinsei Trust & Banking. It also includes the April 17, 2026 SBI Startale initiative to build broader Web3 and stablecoin infrastructure.
Taken together, these are the core components of a modern financial operating system.
The XRPL can host stablecoins, tokenized securities, automated market makers, decentralized exchanges, escrow, identity tools, and realtime settlement. Interledger (ILP) extends that capability by connecting separate payment systems and ledgers. 👇🏾
‼️JUST IN: AUSTRALIA’S RBA DEPLOYS WHOLESALE CBDC DIRECTLY ONTO XRPL AND HEDERA NETWORKS IN PROJECT ACACIA‼️
The Reserve Bank of Australia just ran real money on both the XRPL and Hedera.💸
This is a massive development.🙇♂️
Project Acacia is a hands-on research program run by Australia’s central bank (the RBA) and industry partners.
They issued small amounts of real pilot wholesale central bank digital currency (wCBDC) and used it to settle live trades of tokenised assets such as bonds and other financial instruments on multiple blockchain networks.💰
The goal was to test what actually works when digital central bank money sits alongside private money and tokenised assets in wholesale markets.🌐
In these tests, the XRP Ledger powered complete end-to-end permissioned bond lifecycles with J.P. Morgan custody, including redemption settled in RLUSD.✅
Hedera delivered both its public network and private HashSphere ledger for critical interchange services on tokenised private money.✅
Public ISO 20022-compliant blockchains just passed a central-bank test in Australia’s wholesale markets.🔥
XRP and HBAR are both entering the plumbing of Australia’s wholesale markets.☝️
Straight from the official May 2026 final report.😏💨

We always knew XRP wasn't a security - and now the @SECGov has made clear what it is: a digital commodity. Grateful to the Crypto Task Force for working to deliver the clarity that markets, investors, and innovators have long deserved.
TODAY 🚨: The Commission issued an interpretation that clarifies the application of federal securities laws to crypto assets.
This is a major step to provide greater clarity regarding the Commission’s treatment of crypto assets.

Since Day 1 $QNT has looked more like an inside job from the UK
Gilbert Veridan's background alone shows this
But looking at the progress over the past few years & the picture becomes even more clear.
Quant's been at every part of the UK's progression towards Enterprise DLT since Day 1.
From alignment on ISO TC 307 standardization,
To all that we're seeing now with GBTD, UK RLN, Sync Lab, Rosalind and more.
These have all been critical pieces of UK's advancements.
And it's not a coincidence that Quant's been involved every step of the way
This was all intentionally planned very early on.
What we're seeing now is just years of progress gradually beginning to come to light.
Friendly reminder that every ounce of yield you get offered for your XRP, you're paying for with some amount of risk.
Rarely do people dive deep enough to understand where the yield is coming from at the core.
It's part of DeFi, but don't sleep on good due diligence.

🚨BREAKING: Ripple Releases WHITEPAPER for BANKS to Buy & Sell CRYPTO 😳🔥
@Ripple has officially published a new whitepaper titled “The Blueprint for Institutional Digital Asset Trading.” 👀
This is a detailed framework for how BANKS, hedge funds, and large institutions can trade crypto more safely and efficiently. 🚀
Right now, large institutions have to open accounts on multiple exchanges, move money back and forth, manage separate credit lines, and take on counterparty risk. One failure — like FTX — can freeze EVERYTHING. 😳
👉🏼 @Ripple's solution? A Digital Prime Broker (DPB) framework.
Under the DPB model, ONE main prime broker would aggregate liquidity, manage credit, and NET positions at the end of the day — reducing capital requirements and counterparty exposure. 🤯
@Ripple proposes leveraging the XRP Ledger (XRPL) for on-chain credit lines and faster settlement, allowing earlier netting, greater transparency, and reduced systemic risk. 🔥

Great to be back on with @MariaBartiromo discussing Ripple’s banner year and accelerating momentum as we start 2026.
Already, we are actively seeing Boards and CEOs pushing their CFOs and treasurers to understand how they can leverage and benefit from stablecoins. For corporates, there's no question that stablecoins are the gateway into crypto. Institutional adoption 🤝 real-world utility.
