Please read my Op-Ed published in the Arizona Capitol Times. Happy to see that the Times is invested in amplifying the voices of healthcare professionals, many of whom are subjected to violence in the workplace. 1/3 azcapitoltimes.com/news/2023…

In a broader context, these can also apply to the operational and logistical aspects of practice. Discerning the differences between QI, EBP, and research can be difficult because of their many overlapping features.  3/4

There are undoubtedly many considerations for healthcare leaders and nursing leaders to weigh in on before making the switch to digital. What are your thoughts on how this can best be done?   #innovation #heathcarefinance #healthcarepolicy #nurse #nurseleadership 3/3

3 ICU nurses were guilt-tripped into working 16hrs yesterday. They showed up for their scheduled shifts again today. This is how the healthcare system runs - on the backs of nurses who give themselves selflessly, even at the expense of their own health and family. Pay nurses!

You don’t. Front line workers need to be paid their value. If you’ve experienced >20% vacancy, then you know that having a full complement of competent staff is priceless in terms of safety and quality. //

Today is the ceremonial end of my Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Leadership and Healthcare Systems at Grand Canyon University.  For my practicum project, I was lucky to be able to do it with a mentor of mine from Mayo Clinic. 1/
