Gee @TerrySheehanMP maybe this amazing team should be blocked from access to Canada , instead of 20 actual athletes that are trying to improve themselves through sports!🤔
But can they play hockey. 🏒
Peel police have arrested 17 men and laid 106 charges after dismantling an international extortion network that targeted South Asian business owners and families.
The group is linked to 24 incidents in Brampton, Mississauga, Caledon, and British Columbia, including arsons and shootings involving 324 rounds fired. Restaurants and trucking companies that refused to pay were repeatedly targeted. Officers also seized six firearms, drugs, and fake IDs.
Anyone with information or who has been a victim of extortion is asked to call Peel police at 905-453-3131 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.

Not much to say @TerrySheehanMP ? You personally were allowed into government building at 1219 Queen Street by these Commissionaire’s! They man the security points at YAM . Yet you say nothing to save these jobs for veterans. Remembrance Day will ring hollow if you attend
#REPORT: The Canada Revenue Agency has fired the Commissionaires, a Canadian security company that specializes in hiring ex-soldiers, and replaced them with Allied Universal, an American company which underbid them by $80,000.

TWO MEN CHARGED WITH KIDNAPPING
SAULT STE MARIE POLICE SERVICE MEDIA RELEASE
On September 19, 2026, detectives with Investigation Services charged 40-year-old Sahan Alam of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, and 29-year-old Hasan Al-Mamun of Sudbury, Ontario, with kidnapping after an interception by Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) officers.
Shortly after 10:15 p.m., 911 Communicators were informed the two accused were detained by CBSA officers for suspected kidnapping when they observed a 15-year-old inside the vehicle. Officers were dispatched to the CBSA Sault Ste. Marie port of entry and arrested both accused.
An investigation revealed the two accused had picked up the youth earlier that day and would not allow them to leave the vehicle. While reportedly attempting to drive the victim to a hotel, the accused made a wrong turn onto the Sault Ste. Marie International Bridge and were intercepted by CBSA officers when they attempted to re-enter Canada. Neither accused is well known to the victim.
Both accused were charged with kidnapping and held in custody pending a bail hearing.
OTD in @OHLHoundPower history, Sept 24/77, @WayneGretzky fires an opening game hatty and adds 3 assists in a 6-1 win over @Oshawa_Generals . It was his first regular season game as a Hound and shows him in #14, before donning “99”! @OHL_History @burnsieoriginal
Hey @TerrySheehanMP , do you now want to tell us why you and your Liberal government are targeting legal and vetted Canadian gun owners instead of the actual perpetrators? Silence…….
WATCH: Reporter @SHCNTO spoke with @PeelPolice Det. Michael Bishop about the origin of nearly 2 dozen crime guns seized in the GTA, including 1 linked to a murder in Mississauga.
The Canadian border is still very "open and vulnerable" to illegal gun trafficking, says Bishop 🆘🇨🇦
This must be news to you right @TerrySheehanMP ?
🚨 PROJECT RED ZONE: @PeelPolice shutdown an illegal gun trafficking network fueling violent crime in the GTA, seizing 23 guns & releasing images of those involved, underscoring that nearly 100% of crime guns come ILLEGALLY SMUGGLED from the U.S, 🇺🇸 not via licensed 🇨🇦 gun owners
