Wow, what a run it was. I spent the last year and a half covering the Pelicans full-time for FanSided, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I made so many connections, built real friendships, had heated debates, and grew as not only a writer but also a person. Thank you, Pels Nation. I really appreciate all the support throughout this run, but I’m here to inform y'all that I’m stepping away from my role as Site Expert over at Pelican Debrief. This was a tough decision, but the right one as I move forward into a new phase of my career. I’m staying put at FanSided, but in a new role as Co-Site Expert of Raptors Rapture, starting November 1st! When the opportunity to write about my local team came across my table this spring, I jumped at it. Since then, I’ve put my nose to the grindstone to bring y'all as much Raptors coverage as I could. Now I get to bring even more, and that means the world to me. While it’s hard to say goodbye to the Pelicans, this decision allows me to continue pursuing my dream of covering Canada’s lone NBA franchise. I want to say one last thank you to the Pelicans community for welcoming me with open arms and being such an important chapter in my journey in the sports media space.
