Richard Sherman breaks down to Travis Hunter how playing cornerback in the NFL is a whole different beast compared to college: "The league is fickle and funny:" While Travis Hunter insists his relentless conditioning lets him run 100 go routes without burning out, Sherman warns that pro offensive coordinators will strategically exploit two-way players by baiting them with endless deep routes to wear down their legs before matching them up against fresh, elite receivers. Hunter: "We watch film like no other. Sometimes I get sick of it, how much I watch it. But as the game comes, I'm still studying as the game goes on—I'm in the game, but I'm studying everything that's going on." "If they do a play one time on the first drive, and they do it on the last drive, I know exactly what play they're doing and what I'm getting. Offensive coordinators are gonna keep repeating if it works." Sherman: "Not that you can't play receiver in the NFL, but you don't need to play 50 snaps at receiver to get your point across. You could play 20-25 snaps, get the ball 8-9 times, and then go play corner." "The league is fickle and funny. They see you doing that, they're gonna send their number four receiver and run you on go routes until your hamstrings give, then put Justin Jefferson in front of you and say, 'Cover him now, he just came from a water break and you're breathing.'" Hunter: "People don't understand that, I don't get tired for real. My coaches literally tried to keep me out of fall camp, and I'm like, 'No, not doing it, I gotta get used to it.' I just gotta keep playing and keep working." "I talk to myself in the game, my brain just keeps going and lets me know I gotta keep pushing. Once I talk to myself, it gives me a boost like nothing is gonna stop me." 😮‍💨 "I can run a hundred go balls. It might look like I'm tired, but as soon as that ball snaps, I'm back on it at 100% already." [ via @TravisHunterJr ft. @RSherman_25 / #duuuval ]

Ryan Fitzpatrick responds to his criticism about Denver Broncos, QB Bo Nix. He states that he wishes he could take back ‘one phrase’: “The line about being disrespectful to the Quarterback position, it boiled over and that’s the one phrase I wish I could take back… I think my criticism was fair so I do wish I could take that one line out and stand by that.” #BroncosCountry

Iman Shumpert says LeBron’s Sixers team is a Hit or Miss, says Joel Embiid is the Most Important Player & Jaylen Brown is Going To Have To Do Some Heavy Lifting to Win Due To The East Being Stacked "Bron can help you make decisions, but he's gonna have to win series three and four. If y'all gonna do anything, like Bron, Joel's gonna have to come to play, or Jaylen Brown's gonna have to be in a good rhythm."  "We've talked so much about their starting lineup, we haven't really ever touched on their bench, and that's going to be a huge question mark. Because like we were saying, we don't know how many games Joel's gonna play." [ via @shumpstreetpod / #sixers ]

Jason Kelce defends the Eagles' medical staff and shares his perspective on the situation surrounding Jalen Hurts' health “If there's one thing I will vouch for, I'll vouch for Nick Sirianni and this, and I'll vouch for the doctor, like the doctors that I know that work with the Eagles treated me phenomenally in my time in Philadelphia" "There are a lot of other people that are not medical doctors that are offering perspectives on this that I think is a little bit negligent into assigning blame, or assigning malpractice, or assigning whatever. Like, there's a lot happening right now.” "I don't know what the proper procedure is. It does seem like the Eagles followed a protocol for superficial blood clots, and unfortunately, this thing developed—whether it was a result of Jalen playing in the game, or whether it was a result of these flights, I have no idea. Now, it looks terrible because of what ended up resulting". "The one thing I wish would have happened in hindsight is I wish they would have done a scan after the game, because it does appear like the thing that really had a major impact in this is the flights. Like that doesn't appear to have an impact with everybody, because you're sitting there, you're not moving, the pressure has some way of like affecting the blood flow and all this other stuff". "I just wish there was more medical doctors speaking on this with actual evidence and understanding of it. And I know it's different for each case, like it it matters where the blood clot was, how big it was, how close it was to these other arteries, and at the end of the day, it developed into something that in hindsight, nobody would have wanted this to get to this point". "I mean, this dude has been a warrior in Philadelphia, and for this to be, you know, what it's gotten to is terrible, right? It sucks". via @newheightshow / #FlyEaglesFly

He's not the guy, he's not as good as people think he is. I was just told that he has aliens around him and that's why he looks so good, but once there's enough film out there on him, people are going to know how to beat him." "Brock: Shut up. You said that, bro? What a Tool" 😭 "Brock Purdy: I should listen to this kind of criticism, this kind of athlete." Taylor Lewan comes clean & lets it be known he was wrong after Brock took the 49ers to the Super Bowl that same year. Taylor reveals that George Kittle & Christian McCaffrey came for him after his rough critique on their quarterback #fttb

Shannon Sharpe Questions Double Standards in Picking And Choosing What To Investigate And How They Handles Medical Negligence and Player Safety 😳 "So this just happened. And so we're supposed to be cool with it. A man could have lost his life, he could possibly lose his career, but the Eagles' medical staff and the medical staff that's overseen that's paid by the NFL, what did I expect you guys to say? Y'all investigate everything else." "Anything that happens outside of the scope, y'all will take action before the criminal justice system will take action. Y'all will do y'all due diligence, you'll do your investigation." "But this. NAH, we good, we take the Eagles and their medical staff at their word that due diligence was done and protocol and procedures were followed?! That ain't good enough for me."

Raymond Felton says Jayson Tatum Is Better Than Jaylen Brown While Watching Celtics vs. Pistons Live "Jayson Tatum is a better all-around player. Jayson Tatum is basically playing point guard out there, he's a better passer." "Jayson Tatum is a good defender. He's not as good as Jaylen, but he's a good defender though, don't get it twisted. But he's a better passer and scorer.” Charlie Villanueva: “So he’s a better player?” Felton: “Yeah, I said that. I took Tatum over Jaylen Brown” via @ToTheBaha
