Massive Hannah Appreciation 👏🏾
The decision to ditch 🟡 tyres that early and to pit on the same lap as race leader Charles who had a 5 second penalty was magical.
This ditched the better tyre strategy for track position which would have left Max with a very very long 🔴 tyre stint ~46 laps.
It's funny it looked like a mistake, even the SkySport f1 commentators called it but Queen Hannah was right as always. I'm sure no other team could make a decision like that..

CFS is a commercial company, but as a spinoff of MIT our roots are in academia, and we maintain close ties with the university and lab experts whose decades of research made our company possible. This week @CFS_energy physicists will be meeting with many of the top experts in our field at an annual conference called APS-DPP to share our latest work on turning that research into a practical fusion power plant.
It’s important to keep these connections. Outside experts, whether just chatting at our booth or formally collaborating with us, are the first people who are going to spot problems with our approach or validate when we’re on the right track. It takes a lot to make a fusion demonstration machine like our SPARC tokamak and its successor, the ARC power plant, but the first challenge is getting the plasma physics right, and the openness of talking, collaborating, and publishing research helps tackle that challenge.

👉 5,5 centimes par Go transmis

Eric Lefkofsky co-founded Groupon. In 2014 his wife, Liz, was diagnosed with breast cancer, and he was struck by how little data shaped her care. A year later he founded Tempus. Today it reported $411.5 million in revenue for a single quarter.
The third quarter of 2026: revenue up 23%, oncology test volume up 32%, and about 12,000 tests for minimal residual disease, which look for traces of cancer in the blood after treatment, up 300%. Adjusted EBITDA went from $1.5 million a year ago to $25.6 million. Full-year guidance is now $1.60 to $1.605 billion.
What I find most interesting is how the model works. Every tumor Tempus sequences helps a patient today and also adds to a library that now holds 600 petabytes of clinical and molecular data. Drug companies license that data for discovery and development, with more than $550 million in data bookings so far this year, including a new deal with Bristol Myers Squibb. Each test makes the next diagnosis, and the next drug, a little smarter.
I also came to medicine from telecom and the internet, after Viatel, Jazztel and Fon. What surprised me most is how long everything takes. Tempus spent years losing money while it built that library, before it became an advantage. Eric and his team stuck with it, and patients are better off for it.
At Certuma we're learning the same lesson in medical AI. Real clinical cases are the foundation, and you build it one patient at a time.
The most valuable health data is the kind collected while helping someone.

This some sort of Brain surgery for LLM
We asked GPT-6 Astra to edit Qwen3.5-0.8B weights to improve math.
It directly changed only 0.016% of weights, fixing 0.8B's reasoning loops & improving math up to 6x and even instruction following 3x, without gradients or training.
We call this Weight-Space Programming: frontier LLMs can now natively read/write neural network weights! 🧵

BMW has just released a new video showing its new navigation-guided City Assistant, which allows the car to mostly drive itself from one address to another, including on highways and city streets.
The system will be able to:
• Make turns at intersections
• Navigate roundabouts
• Change lanes in city traffic
• Handle right-of-way situations
• Automatically stop and start at traffic lights
The driver did however have to take over in the video due to a parked van on the side of the road, so there are clearly some limitations.
BMW: "When driver assistance is active, the driver can work with the system by accelerating, steering and braking in line with their personal driving style. The driver’s intention is detected based on steering behaviour and gaze direction, so that the system only provides assistance in the form of a warning and steering intervention if the driver is actually unintentionally drifting out of their own lane or if the system detects an imminent collision."
BMW says it will first launch in Germany in 2027 and be available on the iX3, iX4, X5, 3 Series and 7 Series, with the necessary hardware already installed as standard and features activated through over-the-air software updates.
