Nate and River are the young kids that give me hope for the nation. They are assets, not liabilities. They're half my age, and will be making more than me, by next year doing maintenance. I'm pushing them both to the engineering program. You can't teach heart or hustle #IMG

Nate is hyper focused and goal oriented. He's 19 years old, with two years working experience, schooling from the college maintenance program and a desire to learn. He has all the tools and knowledge to learn, if he listens. But from talent alone, I think he will be better than me

We're trying to teach up some of the plants younger guys. Good kids, they will be great steelbillys, one day. They cracked me up when they told me their eyes were swollen, after watching us gouge/plasma out all this old frame. Now we're welding in new stainless, with 4 welders πŸ•ΊπŸ»

If I'm not with my wife or kid, chances are I'm at work, fighting against the world, doing some bullshit with Damo. My brain and his brain work together, we've worked together so long, it's unspoken at this point. I know Damo always has by back, no matter what we're up against βš”οΈ
