Essayli has no democratic legitimacy. He’s never been confirmed by the Senate. He was disqualified as a US Attorney, and his current title is a legal fiction—an assistant to an empty seat.
He’s a Trump stooge clinging to power to interfere with elections till his appeals lapse.

Georgia nurse: We were the only labor and delivery unit in four counties. After Donald Trump cut Medicaid, we were forced to shut down.
Mike Collins voted for Trump’s Medicaid cuts. We were devastated, because we know some of these babies won't make it. I reached out, and Mike Collins essentially told me that Donald Trump's plan was more important than these women and babies.
I'm a registered Republican, but I'm voting for Jon Ossoff. He's always fighting to protect women and children.

Brazen racism and bigotry from the President of the United States. Cheers from the crowd. 19th century type scenes.

With the usual caveat that nothing Trump says means much, and that nothing he does follows a clear logic, signs increasingly are pointing to renewed US/Israeli strikes on Iran.
The US can ensure the war will be intense. It can't ensure it will be short. And Iran will have every incentive to make it as long and painful as possible.

If Schumer isn't back channeling to see if she'd switch sides, he's not doing his job. I'm sure y'all will tell me to shut up, but I'd say handing her a plum committee chair is well worth the insurance that either Fetterman leaves or things end up 50/50.

a worthy request. legit polling is super expensive.
Polling GA was not cheap, we worked our butts off to get a good sample here. If you'd like to donate to help offset some of the costs, you can do so here!

The problem with democracy is that you have to accept what other people think
And that can be painful

I have never in my 24 years of life seen my Latino community embrace a politician as much as I have seen them embrace James Talarico.
Something is happening in TX.
Check out “El Corrido de James Talarico,” an original corrido produced by Latin Grammy winner Salvador “Chava” Chavez in McAllen, Texas. It tells the story of James Talarico — a fighter who’ll take on corruption, lower costs, and protect Texas families. Dance to the polls:

We're inured to Trump spewing such insanity, but the audience applauding this is a critical reminder that a not insignificant cohort of Americans fails to care that their beloved president is batshit crazy.

It is genuinely hilarious that a guy who worked his ass off to get into an Ivy League school -- and wrote a whole book about why that is good and important -- now has to play stupid in front of the entire planet in order to boost his political career
Florida Dems need a turnout deficit inside of 10 points and that's been explained by several Florida pros on this site, I think including by @steveschale
These Democratic sweeps of state offices would be earth-shattering. Bottoms winning in Deep South Georgia as a Black woman and ex-Atlanta Mayor with some baggage, and weak fundraising, against a white man with 9-figure spending, would be a historic breakthrough in the U.S.
