The DCH Health System and DCH Foundation are grateful to Brave Beginnings for a grant that was awarded so that a portable ultrasound machine could be purchased to assist in the placement of IVs for our tiniest of patients.

Taylor Harless is the most recent recipient of the Peggy Simpson Ford Scholarship at The DCH Foundation. Taylor is in her fourth semester of the Nursing Program at the University of Alabama. After graduation, she plans to apply to a physical therapy school. Congrats Taylor!

Clayton Smelley is a recipient of a 2021/2022 DCH Volunteer Auxiliary Scholarship. He is a Senior at Hillcrest High School and has plans to pursue a degree in sports medicine. Congratulations Clay!!! We wish you all the best in your sports medicine career!

Jordan Suttles received a DCH Volunteer Auxiliary Scholarship! Jordan is a Senior at Hillcrest High School and plans to attend the University of Alabama as a biology major on a pre-med track; who may one day be a vital member of our local health care team! Congrats Jordan!

The recipient of the 2021/2022 Lucy Jordan Volunteer Auxiliary Scholarship is Jordyn Stewart. Jordyn is a senior at Hillcrest High School and has plans to attend The University of West Alabama to pursue a career in Health Information Technology. Congratulations Jordyn!
