"We’re tired of just talking about a third way. So this month, we’re merging our three national organizations — which represent the left, right, and center of the political spectrum — to build the launchpad for a new political party called #Forward." washingtonpost.com/opinions/…

The only acceptable response to an advanced time off request:
"OK"
Employees earned their time off and can use it however they want.
And asking "why" just puts unnecessary personal pressure on them. You wouldn't ask why they need to use health care or get their paycheck.

I don’t like formality. There’s no formality when we’re born and none when we die. In between we should treat each other as brothers and sisters because we all want to live a happy life. This is our common purpose and our right.

Gradually people are beginning to recognize that peace of mind has an important role to play in our day to day lives. Mental afflictions like anger, fear and frustration detract from our good health, so, all seven billion human beings alive today need peace of mind here and now.

I often say that we should eliminate the notion of ‘them'. ‘We' should be enough; the whole world is part of ‘us'. This isn't some kind of old-fashioned way of thinking, or an altruistic forgetting of your own interests. I want happiness and in order to achieve that, I need you.
