Each November White Ribbon runs an educational campaign as part of our mission to reduce men's violence towards women. Today boys and young men are still being taught unhelpful messages about what it is to be ‘Real Men and we're asking you to Challenge those #Outdated ideas.

Great to see such an awesome response to the campaign right across our sports community. So let's keep sharing the message with as many sport parents as we can and visit besportive.kiwi and our social channels for more helpful advice. #besportive #athletesvoicenz

When we’re in such close proximity to our kids for such an extended amount of time it’s important that we’re setting a good example to them, and creating a space where they feel safe. #OurHouseRules whiteribbon.org.nz

We’re losing kids from sport because we ask them to specialise in one sport too early. This limits their skill development, the fun goes out of it – and they walk away. bit.ly/2ToNSvB #keepupwiththeplay @WHITE_FERNS @BLACKCAPS

For 2020: In youth sport we must not just focus on the <1% of players who ‘might' make it at the cost of the >99% who could become lifelong participants. It’s about fun, learning, enjoyment, socialising, engagement, legacy & the development of EVERY child -regardless of ability.

In 2020 you’re far more likely to coach a child who'll become a key club member/player/coach than you are a future elite performer ❎It is NOT just about performance, results or creating the next elites ✅It IS all about physical, social & personal development, retention & fun
