At 11am this morning my mom passed away after a 14-year second battle with metastatic breast cancer. She joins her beloved husband Gary, my dad, who lost his fight with cancer in 2000.
I'm unable to describe yet the depths of my grief, even though I've had a long time to prepare for being without either parent. I'm long since an adult, but I feel very much like a kid right now. Lost and heartbroken. Being an only child raised by an only child adds in that third variable.
But I was always lucky to have the best parents I could have hoped for, and been so truly loved, even if I didn't have them here with me for as long as I hoped.
As I told her before she slipped away from the ability to hear, "You were the best mom to me. I love you so very much, and I will miss you every day for the rest of my life." It's true. I will.

May they rest in peace watching #Cubs games together again❤️💙 ⚾️

Bad policy, bad character make bad politics: erratic tariffs, impulsive Iran war, blanket pardons, apparent corruption, weaponized justice, ICE brutality, mountainous deficits, hiding Epstein, abandoning allies and coddling enemies. Hoping for a course correction, for the country and for my party.

27 years ago today, we lost my dad.
Sweetness. The man whose smile could light up a whole city and whose heart never stopped running. Not a day goes by that I don’t miss him.
What keeps me going is seeing how much you all still love him. The stories, the memories, the way you keep his name and spirit alive… it means everything to our family.
Thank you for never forgetting him. Thank you for carrying his legacy with us all these years.
We’re good down here, Pop. The family’s strong, and your Sweetness lives on in every person you touched.

My husband is a rotten garbage person that cheated, stole and lied. After constant betrayals, I filed for divorce because he’s an irredeemable piece of shit.
But please vote for him.

The Zoo earned its stripes – not once, but twice! 🐯🐯
Join us in welcoming the littlest pair of critically endangered Sumatran tiger cubs –– Barani and Malu!
The births represent a lot of firsts for the Zoo, as these two girls are the first Sumatran tiger cubs born in Fort Worth Zoo history, the first cubs born in the renovated Predators of Asia & Africa tiger habitat, which opened in 2023, and the first tiger cubs of any species born at the Zoo in nearly two decades.
There are fewer than 650 Sumatran tigers left in the wild, primarily due to habitat loss and deforestation, making these births especially important for the species' conservation. The renovated habitat allowed the Zoo to renew its conservation focus for this species. The Zoo participates in a cooperative Sumatran tiger breeding program with other North American zoos to ensure a genetically diverse, healthy population of this subspecies, which the two new cubs will contribute to.
Born on July 1 to first-time mother Ndari and father Rakan, these sisters have spent the past 12 weeks growing and bonding with mom behind the scenes, while keepers keep a close eye on their growth and development – which includes milestones like learning to jump, play, run and climb.
As the first cubs born in the new habitat, zookeepers want to be sure Barani and Malu are big and strong enough to navigate their public habitat. The Zoo is hopeful the cubs will make their public debut shortly. Keep an eye on our social channels and website for more updates!

The routine that closed the VMAs was choreographed by Damien Jalet, the same man behind the murder dance in Suspiria, Thom Yorke's Anima, and Madonna's Madame X tour. He's spent 20 years making crowds move like one organism, and most people watching have never heard his name.
Watch the clip again. No single dancer performs the wave that rolls across the risers. Each one runs the same move a half-beat behind the person beside him, and the wave is what your eye assembles from dozens of tiny delays. Same physics as a stadium wave, drilled down to the frame.
Yung Lean's job is the opposite. He stands nearly still in the center while everything churns around him.
Stillness reads as power when the whole frame is chaos.
The original Storm video came out in April, directed by Romain Gavras, who builds his films around masses of real people where other directors would reach for effects. Which is the part that hits hardest in 2026. Anyone can generate a scene like this now. Your brain watches it differently when it knows every body on that stage is real and every ripple was rehearsed.
