The British public after hearing they’ll now “save £27 a year” on their energy bills, despite the fact those same energy bills have gone up £300 in the last year.
🚨 NEW: John Healey is set to announce the following in his Budget later - The gas standing charge will be scrapped to save £27 a year on a typical bill - Green levies on energy bills will be scraped "for good" - NHS prescription charges will be frozen at £9.90 for another year - Poorer households on benefits will receive extra help with energy bills before January's sharp rises - The VAT cut on electricity bills, which was due to expire in April, will be extended (though it's not clear if this will be announced in the Budget or separately) - The Government will remove the link between gas and electricity prices, which currently inflates household bills, "in the long term" - Banks will face higher taxes, with the surcharge on their profits potentially rising from 3% to 8%, making it the Budget’s biggest revenue raiser - HMRC will be given powers to seize money from the bank accounts of people who fail to pay their tax - The freeze on rail fares will reportedly not be extended beyond April - Online retailers like Amazon, eBay and Temu will be made responsible for collecting unpaid VAT from sellers to fund a cut in business rates for high street shops - The thresholds for income tax will be frozen again so another half a million people may be dragged into the higher rate - January's planned increase in fuel duty will be cancelled - Pensioners relying solely on the state pension will see their tax-free allowance rise to £13,036, in line with the pension increase, so they don't pay income tax - Billions in long-term borrowing to invest in defence firms and raise the share of GDP spent on defence (without breaking fiscal rules, as the investments are expected to generate returns) - The upcoming "Your First Home" scheme will be made more generous to provide greater support for middle-income earners - The Budget will also assume the Rosebank oil field is approved, which will generate "significant tax revenues"

Nebius $NBIS secures $3.5billion financing facility with Citi $C - Marks next step in Nebius's strategy to fund global capacity build-out on attractive terms - Advances diversified capital structure built on a disciplined balance sheet - Increases flexibility over timing and structure of longer-term financing to fuel growth in 2027 and beyonD Nebius Group N.V. today announced that it has entered into a $3.5 billion senior secured facility provided by Citi. The facility provides access to capital at attractive rates to support Nebius's global capacity build-out, and advances the company's diversified and sequenced tunding strategy. It complements a funding base that includes customer prepayments and operating cash flows with other financing mechanisms. This provides flexibility over the timing and structure of further external capital-raising as the company continues to execute on its global buildout plans. Ophir Nave, Chief Operating Officer of Nebius, said: "We continue to execute our funding strategy as planned, and are pleased to have secured this financing from a leading global financial institution. This is a result of our disciplined approach to managing our balance sheet to fund our portfolio of projects, and once again demonstrates our ability to choose when and how we raise capital to support our growth. "Sequencing our financing is how we optimize our long-term cost of capital. This facility provides additional financing to support our near-term capacity build-out. We still have a range of capital sources available to us to finance the next phase of growth, including asset-backed financing based on investment-grade customer commitments of more than $40 billion of long-term contracts."

Goldman Sachs Sees a Shift in the Stock Market, & Names 2 Stocks to Buy Now Zeta Global ($ZETA) Zeta Global Holdings works in marketing technology, where it applies AI technology to both digital marketing and consumer intelligence. The company is best known for ZMP, its Zeta Marketing Platform, which uses AI to make sense of the trillions of consumer signals that pour in from the omnichannel universe. In addition, Zeta offers the Zeta Data Cloud, a proprietary data repository – and one of the largest in the industry. Customers can use the Data Cloud, in conjunction with agentic AI, to support up-to-date marketing decisions and automation. And finally, Zeta also offers Athena, an intelligent agentic AI which has evolved from a digital marketing copilot to become an enterprise intelligence operating system. Zeta’s growing use of AI across its marketing platform puts the company in a position to benefit as businesses seek more sophisticated ways to reach customers and measure advertising performance. This puts Zeta right in line with the secular growth trends of its industry. More and more business enterprises are using AI to power their marketing platforms, to incorporate higher levels of automation, and to improve both customer targeting and customer engagement. This naturally brings with it a shift towards more data-driven marketing, using AI to scour existing customer databases for the nuggets that will make advertising efforts more personalized – and then using AI to generate the statistics on more easily measured digital campaigns. Two additional key points underlie Zeta’s potential going forward. First, that the addressable market for the company’s products is growing. There is an expanding demand among businesses for improved customer data platforms and marketing automation, powered by AI-driven data analytics – the exact niche where Zeta lives. And on top of that, Zeta’s business model is based on user subscriptions and personalized customer relationships, giving it a solid foundation for strong recurring revenue. Keeping this in mind, we can turn to Zeta’s last earnings release, which covered 2Q26. The company boasted that the quarter was the 20th in a row with strongly positive, “beat and raise” results, and showed a top line of nearly $443 million. That figure beat the forecast by over $22 million, and was up more than 43% year-over-year. At the bottom line, the GAAP income figure of $8 million led to an EPS of $0.03, which was 6 cents better than had been expected. All of this has Goldman analyst Callie Valenti upbeat on the stock. She bases her view of the stock on several factors, and lays them out clearly, writing, “We see Zeta as a differentiated marketing technology platform that sits at the intersection of customer data, campaign activation, and measurement. Our view is based on Zeta’s ability to 1) gain share from legacy marketing platforms and fragmented point solutions, 2) benefit from its platform breadth as enterprises look to consolidate software spend and create room for AI investments, and 3) drive upside from the Palantir partnership through larger enterprise opportunities. We also see benefits from recent M&A that could strengthen Zeta’s Data Cloud and AI capabilities.” Of the path forward, Valenti says, “Zeta is benefiting from enterprise share gains as customers modernize legacy marketing platforms and consolidate fragmented data, intelligence, and activation tools. Our industry conversations suggest that enterprises are prioritizing AI investments and increasingly evaluating where existing software spend can be consolidated, which should benefit Zeta’s platform breadth and differentiated consumer data.” The Goldman analyst puts all of this into quantifiable terms with a Buy rating and a $45 price target that suggests an upside of 32% going into next year. $ZETA
