From IIT Kanpur, IIT (BHU) Varanasi, IIIT Allahabad and IIM Lucknow to AIIMS, SGPGI and KGMU, Uttar Pradesh brings together technology, management, healthcare, research and life sciences capabilities within one state.
And this is increasingly a 𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶-𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆.
Noida and Greater Noida provide an established technology base, while Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Agra and Gorakhpur are expanding the state’s talent, research, healthcare and business footprint.
The state is also building the framework to turn ambition into execution through the UP GCC Policy 2024, Invest UP, Nivesh Mitra, Nivesh Sarathi, AI City Lucknow and Data Centre Policy 2026.
As the GCC conversation comes to Lucknow, the city has an opportunity to play a distinctive role- connecting healthcare expertise, research, AI, digital innovation and high-value global operations.
The goal is to build an ecosystem where global companies can access talent, develop technology, deepen research capabilities and undertake increasingly sophisticated work.

Buying a monitoring device is not the same as running a monitoring programme.
Hospitals need to decide which patients to monitor, which parameters to track, how often, and what happens when a reading crosses a threshold. They also need to settle who reviews alerts, how fast they respond, and when a patient needs an in-person visit. Without that, remote monitoring can add notifications instead of insight.
