Year 7 Biologists were enjoying pond dipping this morning down in our nature reserve. Pupils were thrilled with their finds including several newts, dragonfly nymphs and an array of other pond creatures. #biology

An exciting collaboration with instagram.com/durhamhighart ...fabric was boiled in 1% iron sulphate and 4% copper sulphate solution and dried. Our Artist in Residence wrapped the fabric around old flowers, the parcels were again boiled and dried. Finally... unravelled😀#chemistryart
