Hello everyone! β€οΈ
I want to thank each and every one of you for all your beautiful comments and for making me feel such incredible emotions. It was truly a very special evening for me, one I will never forget.
Some of you have been asking how I managed to make it happen. Honestly, I was just lucky enough to meet the right people! It all happened thanks to a simple request from my friend and me.
Tasos and Erica, from Argirosβ team, were the real masterminds behind this beautiful moment, and of course, the great artist himself, Konstantinos Argiros! I want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart.
Konstantinos, we are truly grateful for the emotions you gave us. You are not only a great artist but also a man with an incredibly big heart! β€οΈ
P.S. I havenβt forgotten your promise to come to my wedding! π€£ My girlfriend personally heard you say it, so there are witnesses! πβ€οΈ @ArgirosKonstant

Unfortunately for you bro, you are a Serbian Muhacir. No one fucked anyone. Your family converted to Islam for tax purposes lol.

Heβs right though. Like objectively. What was wrong about what he said? Remove your emotion and answer calmly
Can someone please call @netanyahu and tell him to order his bots off me. They are swarming like flies

Listen Israeli bot. Youβre not fooling everyone. Stop projecting your own undercover mission on me. Iβm just a Greek who likes to build bridges. You are an Israeli bot. Itβs been established.

Thatβs what I meant, femicides are high there. Much more than Greece I think

Letβs not act like that doesnβt happen in Turkey

LA doesnβt have the characteristics of a city. Itβs a giant compilation of suburbs. It can never compete with NYC in any capacity. Only thing it wins is weather

You got it. I was explaining myself over and over like 6 years ago. I started to realize people who were rabid with hate for Turks didnβt give af about any context, nuance or gray area. It got to the point where there started to piss me off so much I enjoyed watching the Turkish trolls give them shit lol. But yeah anyway Iβm people over politics. Iβm all about building bridges. I appreciate you genuinely being inquisitive instead of just blindly believing in a Turk lol.

Itβs because itβs pushing out locals before our eyes. Greek and Turkish nationalism did the same but we didnβt have social media then so it was harder to be internationally outraged.

I spent years of my childhood in Greece and visited regularly until my 30s, although less frequently since moving to the US. I was born and raised in London.
My views differ from the Greeks on here, not necessarily Greeks in general. A lot of the Greek diaspora on X seem to be pro-junta conservatives, nationalists, or people who swallow whatever the media tells them. The average Greek Iβve encountered in Athens is far more open-minded.
And letβs not forget, Greeks have famously disagreed with each other throughout history. From the ancient city-states to modern Greek politics, disagreement and political division are practically Greek traditions. The fact that you seem to think Greeks should all share the same opinions shows a rather poor understanding of Greek culture and history.
My Greek is broken these days. I spoke it much better as a child, and whenever I return to Greece, it gradually comes back. Iβm culturally Greek Orthodox but agnostic in my beliefs.
As for ErdoΔan, I donβt think heβs a good leader, and I dislike Turkish nationalism. But letβs not pretend Greece doesnβt have its own nationalism and political problems. The main difference is that Greece is a freer society.
It always makes me laugh when people demand that I publicly condemn ErdoΔan as though Iβm some important politician whose statement the world is waiting for. His values are incompatible with mine. I donβt like him. I also donβt like Mitsotakis, particularly his governmentβs support for Israel despite its actions in Gaza, which I consider genocide.
Of course the Turkish governmentβs actions deserve criticism and condemnation. But so do the Greek governmentβs when warranted. I donβt believe criticism should depend on which flag someone happens to wave.
I donβt see being Greek as an obligation to defend Greece unconditionally or treat Turks as enemies. I can be proud of my heritage without subscribing to nationalism.
