Lawrence Vigouroux walked into the Swindon Town dressing room, his backpack jangling as he walked.
It contained 3,200 coins. He dumped it underneath the captain's peg.
Within hours, he was packing up his apartment and preparing to return to Liverpool, the club from which he was on loan.
This is the story of a player who, in his own words, was "extremely arrogant", something that led to him attempting to pay a £50 fine in pennies.
But it is also the story of a young footballer whose career threatened to go off the rails, before being given a second chance. He is now thriving in the Championship and playing World Cup qualifiers for Chile.

God, I love Nick Cave. Interviewing him was both heartbreaking and life enhancing. I'm not sure how he manages to pull both off

Writing about “playing out”, so just looked up this work of art. A goal that still gives me goosebumps.
From a coaching point of view there are so many fantastic learning points in this passage of play.
As a fan, it was bloody amazing to witness live.
