Guillermo del Toro talks about the negatives of AI in storytelling:
“I don’t think mankind can exist without stories. We must understand if we lose stories and the empathy that art gives us, it will be more unrecognizable as human.
And if we don’t have to recognize ourselves we will be lost. I think just being is an act of resistance.”

Hayden Panettiere's #Heroes dad Jack Coleman calls out the "predatory" paparazzi who "hunted" her as a teen and the reporters who asked questions like: "When are you going to go off the rails?"
“She was hunted. Everywhere she went, there were photographers with 300 millimeter lenses — the kind that can make even the most innocent activity look sinister,” he continued. “Once, when she came to our house, paparazzi hid in the bushes behind our yard and drove onto neighbors’ lawns. They were predatory. No one, especially a teenager, should be targeted that way.”
“By 17 she was #1 on IMDB Pro. She was routinely asked obnoxious questions, mostly some version of ‘when are you going to go off the rails?' Today, we’d recognize those questions for the misogynistic provocations they were.”

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II speaks out after Marvel's #WonderMan gets canceled despite a previous Season 2 renewal:
"That’s life, right? Everything will shake out. I wanted to say thank you to everybody who WATCHED the show, ENJOYED the show, and SHARED that they enjoyed the show in some way or other. The show worked. And that’s my favorite thing about it. I could see it on the faces of the YouTube Reactors (because I watched along with y’all this time. Shout out to y’all) and I can see in the messages I get saying how the show reminded some of you not to give up, and I feel it in the genuine love shared when I bump into some of you all during the day. So, thinking of you all today. I’m glad we got to be a part of something cool. Thank you for watching… And uhh… See you at the EMMYS."
