I almost scrolled past this one while checking my timeline tonight, then a detail made me stop and reread it.
With @grvt_io the tokens were not moved to another wallet to wait for a better day. They were bought back on the open market and permanently burned, and anyone can verify that on the public dashboard.
That is the difference I care about. Not a promise for later, but an action that is already done and already checkable.
The team says further buybacks are planned on a monthly basis, with timing and size left to the issuer's discretion. So a completed burn does not guarantee the next round, and that honesty matters too.
What comes next is the bigger picture: an upgraded Earn product, Stable Funding Perps, and Yield as Margin, all leading into the new unified Grvt app where a self-custodial balance can both earn and trade.
The feature I am watching closest is Yield as Margin. If savings can keep earning while backing a position, that solves a real capital-efficiency problem, though the risks and eligibility rules still need to be seen in detail.

My airdrop farming journey with StandX.
I joined @StandX_Official on January 31, 2026, and it has now been almost 9 months.
A project supported by @BNBCHAIN, and I usually pay attention to projects coming from BNBCHAIN.
I first started paying attention to StandX when it appeared on Kaito. After some time, Kaito ran into problems because X stopped providing API access to Kaito.
At that point, I thought my journey with StandX would come to an end. But that wasn't the case. I started learning how to earn Points on StandX, and that was the beginning of my long trading journey.
I didn't use any hedging at all. I just traded normally to earn Points. Maybe this is the part where I should call myself a fool for not using hedging while farming Points.
I had never participated in any DEX before, so I had no experience with hedging to reduce risks. It wasn't until much later, when I learned more about how to farm Points on Perp DEXs, that I discovered hedging.
During the first 7 days, I made a profit of $500. I was so happy that I jumped around as if I had just eaten Justin Sun's $5 million banana 🍌🍌. The feeling of victory was incredibly intense.
But that happiness didn't last long. I started getting deeply caught up in trading to earn Points, and the losses began to find me. One interesting thing about StandX was that even when I lost money, I could still earn Points from those losses.
The market became extremely volatile, and I lost my sense of direction and started losing money. I lost $700 in just one hour. After the shock of losing that much money in an hour, I started learning about hedging and stopped trading without it.
But luckily, the market was on my side, and I managed to recover my losses throughout my trading journey, eventually ending up with a profit of $714.
From there, I started exploring other ways to contribute by creating content and participating in events on the StandX Discord.
I really liked this kind of contribution because every event and contribution came with a corresponding Role.
On the night of the 13th, I went into the Chinese chat channel and saw some KOLs spreading FUD about StandX not having a TGE.
At that moment, it just felt like the usual FUD surrounding a project.
But that wasn't the case. Those Chinese people were really sharp. Right on the 14th, StandX announced that it was shutting down.
I was shocked by those Chinese people. It was almost as if they could see the future. That was absolutely crazy.
But to be fair, StandX was still a project I had been involved with for a long time. If I said I didn't feel any regret about the project shutting down like that, I'd be lying.
Building products in Crypto is truly brutal. This year, I've seen quite a few products shut down, not just StandX.
Recently, @NeoSoulAI said they had been following the StandX community and understood the sadness of those who had contributed and become part of the project.
