The Chainlink Reserve just launched with a 65.5K LINK starting balance. It is funded by real revenue from Chainlink services, both on chain usage fees and off chain enterprise contracts, automatically converted into LINK via Payment Abstraction. Nothing is expected to be withdrawn for years, and the wallet is public so the whole market can watch it grow. As a result, the market is pumping for $Link. The question now is what the inflow will look like next week and how the market will react. That reaction will mostly be a reflection of expectations rather than the raw number itself. I do not know where it will land, but I will be watching closely and hoping for a pleasant surprise. It is important to point out that the initial 60K LINK deposit should not be treated as a normal weekly number. We do not know if it represented one week of revenue, several months of accumulation, or if part of it was simply a seed amount to launch the Reserve with impact. Because that time frame is unknown, it would be misleading to expect anything close to 60K every week this really in the game, but I could be wrong. The market may subconsciously compare future deposits to that figure, but it could be too early to have that expectation. Here is what we do know. The only revenue stream with public and trackable numbers is SVR from the Aave integration. Based on their governance reports, some weeks have been just a few hundred LINK worth of value, while the biggest weeks have landed in the 1,700 to 2,500 LINK range. This gives us a measurable baseline and is the main anchor for my expectations. From there, I add some conservative speculation for other revenue streams that will also feed the Reserve Usage fees from other @chainlink services like VRF, Automation, and Functions Fees from #CCIP transactions Revenue shares from Data Streams such as exchange integrations Off chain enterprise contract payments which could be sizable, but less frequent Because we do not have public numbers for these, I assume they will contribute modestly in most weeks with the possibility of larger irregular batches. That is why my mental range expectations look like this: Under 1K $LINK → light week and below even moderate SVR performance 1 to 3K $LINK → matches solid SVR weeks and steady but not headline grabbing 3 to 8K $LINK → multiple services active or a decent enterprise payment 8K $LINK or more → likely batching or a large enterprise inflow and a strong signal of adoption The first few updates will set the tone, but the real story will be in the trend. Consistent growth even in the mid range would say more about adoption than one massive outlier. blog.chain.link/chainlink-re…
