Part of Nigel Biggar’s article in The Sunday Times today, reminding us that a careful reading of history, by an historian who know what he’s talking about, is a big improvement on what too often passes for debate about slavery reparations.

Europe is now experiencing everything the corrupt EU and British failed political elites wished on Russia.
Political collapse, a cost of living catastrophy, open social disintegration. The winter approaches, the Kiev beggar wants more.

Wow! There’s propaganda and then there’s this …
the government wants you to think they are coming down hard on wind farm profits LOL … ok here goes.
These wind farms already receive BILLIONS in subsidies, paid for by us, but that’s on top of what they earn selling electricity.
So the Government wants 55% tax on their Excess revenues! Except …er there aren’t any.
Wind farms can avoid the tax by signing up to guaranteed electricity prices, AND KEEP THEIR SUBSIDIES!
And if electricity prices fall, we still pay the difference. There are no profits only er … inflated cost covering!
Hahahaha … what an absolute fiddle!

No doubt the Climateers gathering for their annual moanfest in Turkey next week, dreaming of all us peasants back in our caves, leaving the airways free for their private jets, will be headlining that wildfires in the last two years have been at their lowest level ever?
Or will they keep that bit of Good News very quiet?

The Democrat communists are trying to normalize cheating in elections.
If it isn’t obvious to you, you need mental help.
If you go to bed on election night and don't know who won a midterm congressional race, that's normal. And if you wake up the next morning and find that a candidate who was behind hours earlier has since pulled ahead, that's normal, too. (via @PolitiFact) to.pbs.org/4zqnWBa

Poland, the one part of Europe that’s so far managed to resist the globalist decimation of their culture, history and values. The open borders destruction of their society and economy, but that could all be about to come to a crushing end...

And people like Tusk are who cretins in the UK want us back in the EU to be with.

Another way of looking at the volatility of GB grid frequency is to look at the growing width of the +/-3SD from the daily mean. +/-3SD used to be broadly within the 49.8-50.2Hz normal operating limit. Now +/-3SD is closer to 49.7-50.3Hz. Frequency volatility is increasing & grid stability is falling.

Empirical analysis of 15-second frequency data vs system inertia shows the grid is becoming harder to manage. Frequency volatility is rising as average daily inertia falls. Operators are working harder to stay within limits. Now NESO has stopped providing inertia data. (4/12)

If what based @GrzegorzBraun_ says is true it appears some of the “police” at the scene of the judicial coup in Poland are not Polish - and may have been bussed in from Germany.
Blank helmets, no markings, and many seemingly unable to understand Grzegorz's questions—looking around for translations from people behind them. German translations to be specific.
Third world levels of despotism to be so unpopular you have to import not just your electorate but, apparently, your police to boot.

Annual increase in disposable income per person:
Thatcher, 1984–89: +3.97%
Labour, 2024–29 (forecast): +0.4%
That's people becoming TEN TIMES better off per year than now.
I'd happily endure five years of 1980s wallpaper for five years of 1980s economic growth. 📈
