I strongly condemn the Parades Commission’s decision to permit an unwanted Orange march through the Garvaghy Road community this Sunday. There is no reasonable or logical basis for it.
For 28 years, the people of Garvaghy Road have lived in peace. That peace was never a problem to be solved. It is a peace to be protected.
This march is steeped in a history of hate, sectarian violence and murder. People across the North are dismayed by this decision.
Sinn Féin stands fully with the Garvaghy Road community. They have the support of nationalists right across Ireland in the time ahead.

🚨 Sinn Féin's motion of no confidence in the Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael government will be voted on tomorrow in the Dáil.
We encourage everyone to contact their TDs and ask them to vote no confidence in the government.
This government isn't listening. They still haven’t taken the necessary steps to make fuel affordable at the pumps and did nothing on home heating oil despite it hitting the highest prices on record. Working people are left behind again.
We will keep fighting your corner until you and your family get what you deserve - real leadership and real support.

Despite a cost-of-living crisis that continues to squeeze households, the Government have confirmed the reintroduction of Junior and Leaving Certificate examination fees for 2026.
Families will once again have to pay €116 per Leaving Certificate candidate and €109 per Junior Cycle candidate. This is going to hit families hard, many of whom are already struggling to keep pace with energy bills, rising rents and mortgage costs.
Sinn Féin has consistently argued that education must be free and accessible to all. We are calling on the Minister to reverse this decision immediately.

🛑 Stop SNA cuts! A pause to the Fianna Fáil-Fine Gael plan for widespread SNA cuts is not good enough. Micheál Martin saying “schools are well used to appealing” is insulting. Devastating for children with special education needs. Parents racked with worry. Schools left with real uncertainty. The only thing they need to hear from the Taoiseach is that this cruel plan will be completely scrapped.

Once again, government is refusing to act on the growing problem of nitrous oxide in our communities, despite Sinn Féin bringing forward practical, common sense legislation this evening.
Nitrous Oxide is having long term impacts on the health of young people and needs to be regulated. The government must back this important legislation.

Watch this! Mary Lou hits the nail on the head. A do-nothing government whose first year has been defined by failure scandal and broken promises. The worst government ever!

All five Dublin Bay North TDs are putting pressure on the government to solve the long-running saga of Gaelcholáiste Reachrann’s lack of permanent buildings with one TD saying the Department of Education "deserves a kick up the backside"

The logic of what FG are saying about Catherine Connolly’s work as a Barrister is that the current Minister for Justice should be accountable for the actions of clients he worked for as a barrister.
@OCallaghanJim must explain if he agrees with this desperate line of attack.

Fine Gael must think people are stupid as they scrape the bottom of the barrel with their smears against Catherine Connolly.
It’s Fine Gael who refused to build public housing as they rolled out the red carpet for vulture funds.
It’s Fine Gael who pushed home ownership out of the reach of an entire generation.
Ordinary people screwed while vulture funds made obscene profits, Young people, their parents and grand parents will remember that next Friday. Vote Catherine Connolly 1

🇵🇸 All eyes on the flotilla! I just spoke to Senator Chris Andrews. The flotilla is now 45 nautical miles from Gaza and is faced by 12-14 Israeli warships. Some boats have already been intercepted. This is a moment of huge danger. The Irish government must speak out. Irish citizens and all the activists on board must be given safe passage.

❤️ Stephen and Gillian are incredible people. Their integrity, strength and courage shines as the speak about the heartbreaking loss of their beloved Harvey and the joy he brought to their lives. Sending them love and solidarity as they fight for all the other children waiting for spinal surgery. No more broken promises. The government must act to get children the operation that will change their lives!

Student fees are going up €1000 in September - the FF Minister is very clear about that!
Today in the Dáil the government refused to answer basic questions about this plan to shaft students.
Total incompetence from government. Worry and stress for students and parents.

The proposed IPAS centre at Crown Paints won’t go ahead.
This was never right for a community long neglected.
We will continue to fight for real investment in housing, local services & community facilities to ensure the people of Coolock get the opportunities they deserve.

FF/FG’s latest stunt - a housing czar paid nearly half a million euro to do the job of the Housing Minister!
Nobody is buying this farce! 🤯
We need real solutions to fix the housing crisis, not more smoke and mirrors.
