Human rights lawyers Imaan Mazari-Hazir and Hadi Ali Chattha deserve justice. Today they were sentenced to ten years in prison on counts of “terrorism.” Their crime? Defending activists, lawyers and marginalized communities that were subjected to enforced disappearances and unjust charges.
They underwent an unfair trial for this fearless human rights work. Authorities must immediately release Imaan and Hadi and drop all charges against them.

So sad. If there is medical use, let them control it. Banning is good if its not. We should support this transition

When people hear the word Tokyo, they picture neon billboards, thirty-seven million people, and the busiest train stations on Earth.
Yet this island in the middle of the Philippine Sea is officially part of Tokyo. Every car on the island wears a Tokyo license plate.
This is Aogashima, an active double-caldera volcano rising 1,380 feet straight out of the deep blue ocean, two hundred and twenty miles south of the capital. Inside a massive outer ring of jagged volcanic cliffs sits a second, smaller green cone called Maruyama.
Only about 160 people live inside the crater, making it the smallest municipality in Japan. There is one general store, one post office, and zero traffic lights. The only way in is a twenty-minute ride on a nine-seat commuter helicopter or a small ferry that can only dock when the ocean waves allow it.
Living inside an active volcano comes with a perk. Around the inner crater, natural geothermal steam vents called Hingya hiss out of the earth.
Locals do not need gas stoves to cook lunch at the park. They place sweet potatoes, eggs, and fresh fish inside wooden boxes built directly over the volcanic vents and steam them for free. They even use the volcanic heat to evaporate ocean water into prized mineral salt.
At night, with zero city lights for two hundred miles, the sky above the crater turns into a solid ceiling of stars.

here's how to make a cozy fishing game solo with Claude Opus 5.5 + Blender + 3D AI + Unity 6...
the trick is giving every tool one job, but there's a smart way to set it up:
- step 1: generate every 3D model with Tripo Smart Mesh P2: palms, rocks, the pier, the boat, the hut, the character
- step 2: connect Claude Code to Blender through MCP
- step 3: Opus 5.5 sets up each model in Blender: scale, pivots, materials, clean export
- step 4: Opus animates in Blender too: the character's walk, the cast, the rod, the boat on the water
- step 5: bring everything into Unity 6 and build the world: forest, river, waterfall, beach, pier
- step 6: add the systems one at a time: walking, fishing, bait choice, a time of day
- step 7: play it after every step and fix one thing at a time
who does what:
> Tripo: the 3D models
> Opus 5.5 + Blender: setup and animation
> Unity 6: the world and the game
one person, one stack, one game you'd actually want to play
here's how to build a game like this with Claude Opus 5.5 + Blender + Unity 6...
the trick is preparing everything before Opus writes a single line, but there's a smart way to set it up:
- step 1: connect Claude Code to Unity and Blender through MCP
- step 2: write one big brief: the world, the mechanics, the UI, the mood, plus reference images
- step 3: add a CLAUDE.md with your rules, and design docs as the single source of truth so Opus never guesses
- step 4: split the work into subagents: design, modeling, textures, and one reviewer that only looks and approves
- step 5: Opus models the assets in Blender: the island, palms, pier, boat, fishing hut
- step 6: it builds a greybox in Unity first, plays it, fixes it, and repeats
- step 7: mechanics one layer at a time: walking, casting, bait, catching, day and night
- step 8: you watch and give feedback with a reason: "too dark at dusk", "cut the water stripes"
and the two rules that make it work...
the agent that builds is never the one that approves
every fix gets written into a file, so the next project starts smarter
start small, a fishing game is the perfect first project

Stunning sunset.
This happens because of a phenomenon called Rayleigh scattering: cirrus clouds scatter the longer, red wavelengths of light and give the sky an orange or reddish hue.

My dad has been working at TSMC as an engineer for the last 20 years, and he’s been in semiconductors as a whole for the past 30. A few days ago, he gave me one of the textbooks he’s referenced from when he was working at SK Hynix as a design engineer in the late 90’s.
The book (published in 1997) everything to do with CMOS circuit design and simulation, and what I find interesting is that the fundamental math and physics behind it has not changed in the last 30 years. What really has changed, is the simulation technology behind circuit verification that has evolved in the last 50 years, all the way from when SPICE v1 was released in the 70s, to whatever we have now.
It really does feel cool to be working on the next iteration of a technology that has been around for so long, yet is so difficult to use and develop even now.
I just think semiconductors and simulation is so interesting. I’m really happy that I get to work on this full time with my own startup, with others who also believe in the vision.
