While i still believe it to be 100% dess or a form of her, Rudy would be a pretty good sacrificial goat to play the role of the knight which must be defeated, if it atleast guarantees that carol would be able to find her, and give noelle that happy life she wants.

id also make sure to be the one playing the paper of its final enemy, so that I would have control over pacing or location, maybe thats what the roaring group are doing, just vying to control a part of the ever marching end of the world, atleast so they can bring her back.

the knight is basically confirmed to be made out of lost dreams, whats more lost than the girl who lost her entire life? maybe the knight is its own free agent or an armor / role to fill by anyone, if i was looking for her and it all connected to the prophecy -

plus the idea that if the roaring will atleast start, gathering lightners who have become aware of the darkworlds (that arent in the prophecy) as a sort of team to do ? but we see that from the fact only lightners to be fully aware of darkworlds are kidnapped (toriel was asleep)

I have been thinking about that, maybe the roaring group simply wishes to be at the center of the prophecy to dive into the deepest dark, to find her? since the fun gang is guarsnteed to stop the roaring maybe they just wanna be there when it happens to complete their goals

MORE DELTARUNE SPOILERS /THEORY ////// . . . . . I wonder if the fight between the flowers and our gang is meant to parallel what is going on in the roaring group and our gang, it being more complicated, about two opposing dreams that wish for the best yet cannot work together
