First the people who disagreed with him were anti-Calvinists, then they were rabid anti-Calvinists, now they’re rabid, wild-eyed anti-Calvinists. Before long, @ReformedCaio is going to spend half his posts just on the adjectives of his detractors. He’s emotionally immature.

A while back, @ronhenzel created a poll asking how people got their soteriology, and 96% of respondents were Calvinists. Now he creates a poll talking to the non-Calvinists, and is surprised there are so few responding. As I said, Ron blocked his way into an echo chamber. Why is he shocked?

I was dating a woman in 2024, and when she heard I was going to a Skillet concert, she tried her hardest to contact the right people to get Skillet to play my favorite song of theirs at the concert as a surprise to me. She wasn’t able to make it happen, but major points for the idea and effort. Sucks that that relationship didn’t work out. She was a good one.

Just realized Dale blocked me. Having said that, you can tell Dale wants so badly to mock and gloat and rub this in, but has just enough Christianity in him to know he can’t get away with that. So he settled for a neutered version. I know because the first part didn’t need to be said.

I’ve been saying for years that @aigkenham needs to shut up. But he has a ministry to fund and a $100 million ark museum to sell tickets to, so he literally can’t let the age of the earth be a point of agreeing to disagree. He HAS to catastrophize believing in an old-earth. I’m old-earth, I’ve held to it for almost a decade and a half (was once an avid follower of Kent Hovind), but YECs are brethren I’m still happy to fellowship with. It’s a tertiary issue that Ken Ham and the like have scared people into thinking is of utmost importance for orthodoxy because, as I’ve said, he’s incentivized to do so.

Instead of yelling to repeal the 19th (because that’s not a workable, sensible, or realistic strategy, and it’s not the problem), how about Christians actually turn out and vote?

Why are horoscopes based off birthdates rather than conception dates? What are the odds that 1/12 of the world is having the same kinda day today? Why don’t twins always have the same personality if birthdate determines personality type? What force do planets measurably apply to people on earth that would affect personality? And why only the planets in our solar system? And why doesn’t distance affect it?

When are you going to give up the possibility of having a better past?

Single Christian men, just because you both love Jesus doesn’t mean a single Christian woman owes you a relationship, or anything else for that matter. Be interesting, don’t be a douchebag, look presentable, have ambition, get fit, discipline your flesh. Those things matter too.
