"Every time I tee off, I want to win" 💪 There is no stopping Eugenio Chacarra. A second-round 66 (-5) leaves him six shots off the lead and ready to attack in round three. Fresh off his victory in India last week, Chacarra leads the Race to Dubai Rankings and will have the opportunity this weekend to pull away even futher from Patrick Reed and Rory McIlroy. "I'm going to try to shoot as low as possible tomorrow. It's going to be an attack day. It can go my way or not. But hopefully it can go my way. I can shoot another 5 or 6 under and put some pressure on the leaders. "I know if I have a good Saturday tomorrow people don't really like seeing my name up there." #GenesisChampionship

"It's tough to realise that I'm going to go back to Q- School in 12 days, in 11 days after 19 years without going to Q-School, but my dream job is to play the DP World Tour. It's been for the last 26, 27 years. "Not too many people in the world can say that they have achieved probably 98, 99% of my dreams. But I think I have a couple more years of golf and I think I can still win golf tournaments. But for that, I'm going to have to prepare myself. "It's tough to realise all these moments. I cannot put it into words, but you know, it's going to take I have to recover myself. I'm very tired. As I said, I played nine of the last 10 weeks and I have to recover my old body to try to play six good rounds in Infinitum and to try to keep the dream alive. "I think I want to win one more. I want to win. I want to reach double figures and then 100% of my dreams will come true." Pablo Larrazábal is remaining positive after his 19-year run on Tour comes to an end in Korea. #GenesisChampionship

Heartbreaking for Aphibarnrat, who has withdrawn from the Genesis Championship and subsequently lost his DP World Tour status for the 2027 season 💔 “First of all, I just have to apologise. I really let them (the fans) down. There’s not many times in my life that I have disappointed people, especially my family and all the fans. “In the last 15 years I’ve had a really good career but just the last three or four years haven’t been easy. I’m a fighter so I believe I’m going to get past all of this and we’ll come back strong.” #GenesisChampionship

Pablo Larrazábal finishes the week with two rounds of 73 and will miss the cut at the Genesis Championship. With this missed cut, the nine-time DP World Tour winner loses his DP World Tour status and will be teeing it up in Q School at Infinitum Golf, a course he won at in 2022. We hope to see you back on Tour soon, Pablo 💙 #GenesisChampionship

"It wasn't the start that we wanted but I played good. I didn't hit a lot of good putts, I hit one three-putt, I hit a ball in the water, so overall a lot of things to work on for tomorrow. "It's not playing easy, the pins are tucked, the greens are pretty firm and obviously this morning was really cold. The first five holes the ball was going nowhere. I didn't have my best out there. "I love this place, I love this golf course, I love Korea. It wasn't what I wanted but it was just the first round. We get some rest, get my game sharp and we'll get back to it tomorrow and for the rest of this week. "I could've skipped this week but I like this course and with Rory and Patrick (Reed) not playing, I could get a few more points if I have a good week and all the help I can get ahead of those two, I'll take." The Race to Dubai leader Eugenio Chacarra talks through his opening round in Korea after shooting an over par round for the first time since Saturday of the Amgen Irish Open. #GenesisChampionship

"Today was good, I started going off pretty steady and ending up holing out for eagle at the sixth hole I think. I played steady. I didn't make many putts on the back nine which was kind of frustrating because I hit the ball really well. "It could've been a really really good round, golf's been pretty tough for me lately so it's been pretty nice to get a solid round in there. "It's been hard for me to be free swinging, it's been a bad stretch for me of bad golf. It's exhausting on both ends of it. But I came into this week thinking it's going to be last event of the year and I'll give it my all, let's see what happens." Hear from Ryggs Johnston after shooting his lowest opening round since February, who is currently 169th in the Race to Dubai Rankings, came into this week needing a top two finish to get his way into the top 100 and secure status on the DP World Tour for 2027. #GenesisChampionship
