Everyone is killing Jayden for not just throwing a YOLO ball on 4th and 2. He's just not wired that way. Especially early in the 2nd quarter. We can disagree. What is more frustrating to me is his tendency to leave the pocket too soon (which can happen with mobile guys) and he consequently doesn't see Williams open and then just runs out of real estate FAST. He's not gonna just chuck it to a covered guy there IMO. That's not who he is.

Watching Jayden Daniels tape back. I'm only seven throws in. So far he's been clinically good. Made the right read and was accurate on almost every throw. But on this short toss to Bates he misses a wide open Antonio Williams for a 21-yard TD.
