I spend a lot of time looking at agentic AI coding platforms. Feels like the current state of the art requires the role "AI Shepherd" - a senior developer as human in the loop that is constantly bringing wayward agents back to the task at hand.
Write the prompt, agent starts well, then starts to wander, AI Shepherd stops the agent and creates a rule to keep the agent in line for future attempts.
Agent Rancher? Agent Corral Builder? Maybe I hire some AI Sheepdogs?

Back during George Floyd, when people were attacking cars in the street, I was trying to tow a trailer to one of my properties and the road I was going down had some sort of free food giveaway going on and there were some guys directing traffic and when I got down to where they were, I pointed that I needed to keep going straight and they got mad for some reason and pulled trash cans out in the street to block me so I bumped the trashcan out of the way and went down to my property and then the police showed up and yelled at me for 20 minutes because I had used my car like a deadly weapon against the trashcan
Bird flu didn't kill the chickens, the companies did. Why? Because the USDA paid them for each chicken they killed. @elonmusk - How about stopping this flow of cash - and dropping egg prices at the same time.
