🚨 1ST AMENDMENT VIOLATION
On June 24, 2026, Paigelynne Gonyea, a Syracuse, New York resident and poll worker, was approached by two @ICEgov agents at her workplace (Central Library on Salina Street, while working as a poll worker).
They issued a written warning about an Instagram post she made on January 8, 2026 (roughly 5 months earlier), and told her to remove content they viewed as threatening federal agents, or risk prosecution.
The Instagram post in question:.
"BREAKING: The ICE agent who shot and killed Renee Good in broad daylight has been identified as Jonathan Ross... I think today is a great day for Jonathan to be indicted!"
Calling for the indictment of a criminal IS NOT threatening a federal agent. That's a call for justice and accountability.
THIS IS A BLATANT VIOLATION OF PAIGELYNNE GONYEA'S 1ST AMENDMENT RIGHTS.
