🚨 JAPAN IS WARNING MILLIONS TO PREPARE FOR A DISASTER THAT COULD LEAVE THEM WITHOUT FOOD, WATER, OR ELECTRICITY FOR DAYS.
Japan's Disaster Management Minister is preparing a nationwide emergency request for November 2, urging households to stockpile enough supplies to survive for at least 3 days, ideally a full week.
The government is preparing for several major threats:
• A massive earthquake along the Nankai Trough.
• A powerful earthquake directly beneath Tokyo.
• A possible eruption of Mount Fuji.
Any one of these disasters could destroy buildings, shut down power and water supplies, and leave millions of people without basic services.
People are being advised to store food, drinking water, medicines, and emergency supplies because outside help may not arrive for days.
Japan is not warning that a disaster is about to happen, but the scale of what officials are preparing for is serious.
If a massive earthquake hits Tokyo or other major cities, millions could need emergency help at the same time, while damaged roads and communication networks make rescue operations much harder.
The biggest danger is that emergency services could be unable to reach everyone in time, leaving families trapped in damaged buildings or without clean water, food, and medical care for days.

Security Alert: U.S. Mission Saudi Arabia (October 27, 2026)
Effective October 23, 2026, the Department of State ordered non-emergency U.S. government employees and U.S. government employee family members to leave Saudi Arabia due to safety risks.
Iranian-supported Houthis have engaged in hostilities against Saudi Arabia, including attacks on civilian airports and other critical infrastructure resulting in civilian casualties and severe travel disruptions. The hostilities have the potential to escalate rapidly beyond that immediate area.
U.S. government employees working in Saudi Arabia require special authorization from Chief of Mission to use any airport in Saudi Arabia following recent missile and UAV attacks on airports in the Kingdom.
- King Khalid International Airport (RUH) in Riyadh announced a partial reopening as of October 23 for domestic flights and some international flights operated by national carriers. A limited number of flights normally based at RUH are operating out of Qassim-based Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz International Airport (ELQ).
- Operations at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah (JED) are operational with some delays and cancellations.
- Operations at King Fahd International Airport in Dammam (DMM) are operational with some delays and cancellations.
U.S. citizens should be aware of potential attacks on airports, airspace closures, flight cancellations, and travel disruptions. Please take extreme caution if you choose to use airports in Saudi Arabia. We recommend checking your flight departure status directly with the airline and with the airport.

🚨 Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles is being recompiled for PC — with ray tracing, unlocked FPS and online co-op! 🧟🔥
🎮 Capcom's 2007 Wii light-gun shooter is getting a native Windows port, packed with modern enhancements!
And the developer reports that it's already very playable!
✅ UNLOCKED FRAME RATES — UP TO 240 FPS!
✅ NATIVE MOUSE AIMING WITH FULLY REMAPPABLE CONTROLS!
✅ DLSS, FSR 3.1, FRAME GENERATION, HDR & RAY-TRACED SHADOWS!
✅ EXPERIMENTAL TWO-PLAYER ONLINE CO-OP!
🔥 Also features dramatically faster loading, enhanced lighting, improved anti-aliasing and high-resolution texture replacements!
🛠️ Modding support is extensive, with Lua and JavaScript scripting, native DLL mods, texture replacements and even randomizer examples!
🔧 TECH NOTE: Uses ahead-of-time static recompilation to translate the original Wii PowerPC code into native Windows x86-64 code, with a custom Vulkan renderer. This isn't a Wii emulator wrapper!
⚠️ EARLY BUILD! Gameplay is developer-reported as very playable, but testing has been limited to one PC. Online co-op remains experimental and may experience connection problems or desynchronisation.
Requires Windows 10/11, a Vulkan 1.3 GPU and your own North American Wii game files (RBUE08).
