Within minutes of being notified that my copyright counter-notification had been accepted and forwarded to the claimant, @CriminalNetworX, I received multiple harassing phone calls from that claimant.
@TeamYouTube, does YouTube condone this behavior? My contact information should not be used to intimidate and harass me.
Criminal Network continues to issue copyright strikes that I believe are false. I transformed the content and added my own analysis and critique—uses I believe qualify as fair use.
Creators should be able to dispute copyright claims without facing harassment.

Hello @TeamYouTube @YouTube @YouTubeCreators
Criminal Network’s archived description says: “Feel FREE to Restream and Take Any and All Clips you would like. I don't copyright strike anybody.”
That’s the video’s own description, preserved by the Wayback Machine, and it directly addresses clipping and restreaming.
So why is YouTube allowing creators to receive a copyright strike when the original creator expressly gave permission to use the clips?
