$WGT.V absolutely getting smashed here. Oil is weak, sure, but my favorite Core 15 oil name is actually green today, so clearly it’s not just the commodity talking 😄
WGT is now roughly 20% below the recent C$0.25 bought-deal financing, which was upsized to C$6.5M on investor demand. More importantly, the business itself is not falling apart: Q2 production averaged 610 boe/d, current production was around 800 boe/d, and operating netbacks hit C$45.35/boe.
So yes, the chart looks ugly here, but fundamentally this is getting extremely cheap again. At ~C$0.20, I see bargain territory rather than broken thesis, and I’d be surprised if this weekly breakdown doesn’t turn into a fakeout...

BREAKING: Iran rejects all of Trump's new claims to NYP as "Trump's fantasies" and "completely inconsistent with reality," denying that Iran has been talking to the US in the past days, that Mojtaba Khamenei is involved in negotiations, that Iran has agreed not to have a nuclear weapon, or that the deal framework is being approved in Iran, per Tasnim.
