I got my test results today and I cried.
A test that I took upon myself to go over my doctor’s head and schedule directly with a lab– a test that should have been the FIRST thing my urologist ordered based on my medical history– I tested positive. This means I have had a constant, antibiotic resistant infection for MONTHS now, and on and off for YEARS. I would have never gotten tested for this if I didn’t have a friend who was going through the same set of symptoms who told me to get tested. This has wreaked havoc on my body but the good news is that it’s curable.
I have an appointment on 11/11 with a DIFFERENT doctor so I can get treated once and for all.
(Probably) TMI health update and slight vent:
I'm no longer peeing blood, but I've had infection like symptoms for 2 weeks straight despite taking antibiotics. I'm lethargic, temperature sensitive, migraines, my insides literally feel like they're on fire. It's so scary not knowing what is wrong with you and not having the ability to figure it out before it causes damage to your body because the healthcare system leaves people like me in the dust. I actually might qualify for state insurance again this year because of how little I've made due to not being able to work, so at least there's that possibility- but at what expense? I want to feel normal again. I want my life back. I'm so sick of one major health problem after another with no answers. I refuse to believe that this is my life forever, I'm going to fix this. I'm just so exhausted.

A racist white woman throws coffee at a Black landscaping company owner in Long Island, calls the police on him, and then argues in the officer's face while he reads the man's paid work order.

Business owner David Tallerico says he arrived in the neighborhood with his crew to complete a paid landscaping job when the woman walked up to his truck, threw her coffee at him, and hurled a racial slur before calling 911.
When officers arrived and verified Tallerico's work order on the sidewalk, she still tried to order the police to kick his crew off the block:
"They're not allowed!"
"Do you own it?"
Tallerico says instead of arresting her for assault and filing a false report, police let her walk with a warning.
If the roles were reversed, would he have walked away without handcuffs?

Kevin Hart accused his best friend of 16 years of trying to extort him over a sex tape. His friend was arrested. Years later, every charge was dropped.
In the video below, J.T. Jackson says Hart’s team offered him money to stay quiet, and reveals what he demanded instead.
In 2017, Hart and Jackson went to Las Vegas together. Soon after, a secretly recorded video of Hart with another woman surfaced, while his wife was pregnant.
Someone demanded millions to keep the footage private. Hart went public, apologized to his family and said he wouldn’t let anyone profit from his mistakes.
In 2018, police arrested Jackson and charged him with extortion. He says he lost his career, his reputation and his peace of mind.
Prosecutors dropped the extortion charges, and by 2021 the entire case was gone.
Jackson says he agreed to a settlement under one condition: Hart had to publicly clear his name. He says Hart never said the one line he needed, that he “had nothing to do with it.”
Now he’s suing Hart for $12,000,000. Hart has not publicly responded to his claims.
