Teams won’t pay him what he wants if he sits out this entire season.
There is no logical reason for JPJ to fake an injury unless you think for some odd reason he wants to “stick it to” the Steelers.
Only the Steelers would have reason to sit him, if they are seeking a trade. Outside of that, he has to play to justify his asking price. Unless you think he doesn’t like money anymore, he’s not faking an injury.
When Mason did this against the Bengals 2 years ago you still use it as a reason Mason should start. Now that’s it’s someone else it’s “awful Bengals defense”
