Maxx Crosby to the Giants mentioned as a dream trade in this article. That would certainly be a massive deadline trade if it happened...

If he plays bad in Philly, we send the kid back to Minnesota.

Giants QB J.J. McCarthy will be staying in the area during the bye week. He'll have his long-awaited reunion with his 1-year-old son, Rome, who he has not seen in person since before the trade from Minnesota. His wife Katya was here two weekends ago. They'll join him this week.

Said it in the moment. We couldn’t get through 1 game before needing to add another RB due to injury.

It’s pretty shocking they cut Najee. I did think he was the worst of the 4. But not by this wide margin. But it does give more assurance that everyone will get more touches. Which I guess is a positive.. 1 injury away from needing to add a RB to field a team. Which is a negative.

Giants GM Joe Schoen told reporters that RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. is being placed on injured reserve due to a hamstring injury.

Did this come with a contract extension?

Compensation update; The Seahawks are sending a 2027 third-round pick and 2028 fifth-round round pick to the Colts in exchange for Quenton Nelson.

I’m genuinely mad we didn’t do this.

Trade! The Colts are sending eight-time Pro Bowl guard Quenton Nelson to the Seahawks for a 2027 third-round pick and a 2028 fifth-round pick, sources tell @ringer @netflixsports.

The 49ers, Broncos, Browns, Eagles, Giants, and Ravens are among the teams to inquire about trading for Quenton Nelson. The Colts won’t be able to obtain a 2027 1st for Nelson, but a 2nd-round pick certainly seems feasible.

You can’t say Deonte Banks. What draft pick of Joe Schoens is having a career year?
Rational Giants Takes@RationalGMENFanOct 26
Joe Schoen is being proven right about A LOT of his moves. There isn’t really an argument anymore…. coaching was INDEED holding his draft picks/ free agent acquisitions back. I’m glad ownership correctly identified that.

Has there ever been a GM on the hot seat as badly as Joe Schoen was who managed to flex and turn things around like he has? Dude has been in his absolute bag the last two years.

It wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world IF there was to be a legitimate QB controversy for The Giants in February. That would mean JJ McCarthy surprised even his biggest supporters and played very well. I feel like I need to include that I am very doubtful there is any real controversy.

Tomorrows headline: Cam Skattebo has torn his hamstring. He will require surgery that is ending his season
Mike Garafolo
@MikeGarafoloOct 26
#Giants RB Cam Skattebo told @DanGrazianoESPN he felt something in his hamstring on his 42-yard OT run. All indications this morning are he should be OK, especially with the team on a bye this weekend. A rare, welcome instance for NYG to not have an IR candidate after a game.
