Byron Donalds publicly stated that naturalized citizenship is a constitutional requirement to serve in Congress, and that if Ilhan Omar does not meet that requirement, she must be removed from office. Donalds framed it as non-negotiable: congressional eligibility rules exist for a reason and are not optional.
This is about equal application of the law. If any other member of Congress failed to meet a basic eligibility requirement, the question of removal would not be controversial. The Constitution does not bend based on who is politically convenient. Do you stand with Donalds on holding every member to the same standard?

I hope the authorities have taken into account that Ilhan Omar is closely tied and very valuable to the Muslim brotherhood and that there is a strong possibility her arrest/imprisonment/ denaturalization/deportation, might provoke the MB to wake up some sleeper cells. We certainly have enough of them in our government for that to happen. And liberals continuously try to put more of them into the system. That’s just how I see it in my mind though. Like something really big is gonna pop off when she is brought to justice.
