I couldn't agree more, especially when it comes to explaining the world to children.

Whoa. I reset the SMC on my Mac first go. Makes a change from the two hours it usually takes to kick in.

What? After more than forty years of free-market ideology, kickstarted by Thatcher telling everyone 'there is no such thing as society', encouraging people to embrace competitive individualism, destroying communities & public services, people now have fewer friends? Fancy that.🤬

Brilliant!
"Choose Life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family." Why would Rishi Sunak want to do a thing like that?

"What we do over the next three to four years, I believe, is going to determine the future of humanity" – Sir David King. "I've scrapped that" – Rishi Sunak.

This is just ridiculous. The other day, I said no to a job as it would involve regular air travel around Europe. I’ve vowed not to fly again. (At least not until my leathery wings are restored.)

The over 65s now were those who part of the late 60s counter-culture and 70s punk movements. Neither are very Tory.

This man wants you to think that people claiming benefits are the problem. Let's be clear, they are not. Poverty wages are the problem. Tax dodging millionaires are the problem. Privitisation and greed are the problem. Tories are the problem. #ToryPartyConference #GTTO

I can attest to this. It’s a form of emotional and psychological abuse, and can be indicative of inter-generational trauma. My Mum raised me as she’d been raised: an emotional target rather than a child. theguardian.com/society/2023…

I was one such person. Not a penny of support for me. So no sympathy with any @Conservatives MP who loses their seat (and hopefully their savings, too) at the next election.
This is for the 3.8 million lives that were ignored. The freelancers and the self employed. The Conference are trying every trick to have this taken down…so I’ve just deployed large digital vans as well, to keep circling the area.

This ad must have been created for those who emerged from comas after summer 1967.

I have day after the day after DOMS. Not had these for years. Woke at 4am needing the bathroom and found myself flailing around like an upended bug as my abs were too painful to pull me up. Very Kafkaesque.

Oh. This isn't google translate. (My brain's impatiently waiting for a cup of strong coffee to kick in.) *quietly closes door*

It's #WorldHeartDay. Your heart age gives you an idea of how healthy your heart is. If your heart age is older than your actual age, you could be at increased risk of having a heart attack or stroke. Check your heart age here ➡️ nhs.uk/health-assessment-too…

The funniest thing is hearing them all insisting vociferously that they ought to be paying way more taxes on their 'billion dollar' property. They really aren't thinking this through. 🤣🤣🤣
Here are the facts. The judge did not rule on the valuation of Mar-A-Lago…Rather, the judge looked to and cited the undisputed facts which were provided by the Palm Beach County Tax Assessor and by Donald Trump. meidastouch.com/news/trump-d…

My brain decided to begin the day too enthusiastically.

Totally agree. I'm 56 and don't expect to make it to retirement age. It's why I want the world to implement Belgian euthanasia laws for everyone.
