A little about me: I’m a child of the ’80s and ’90s, raised in rural Mississippi, where comics weren’t exactly easy to come by. Money was tight, and most of the books I got found their way into my hands through trades with friends or from the spinner racks at grocery stores. Back then, every comic felt like treasure. Even with a small collection, comics were a huge part of my childhood. The books I owned were read until the covers softened, flipped through countless times, and copied over and over as I tried to recreate the art I loved so much. Looking back, those comics helped spark something in me that never really went away. They played a big part in shaping my love for art and eventually led me to become an artist and art teacher. One character who always stood above the rest for me was Cable. There was just something about him—the look, the attitude, the mystery, and everything that came with the character. He’s been one of my all-time favorites for as long as I can remember. (Thanks @robertliefeld) This page is a place to share my love and excitement for comics, with a special focus on Cable and the books that mean something to me. I may not have the biggest slab collection, but I’m proud of the books I do have, and here are a few of my favorites. #Cable #marvel #marvelcomics #art #comics #90scomics #90smarvel #90sxmen #comicart #xmen #xforce #mutants #90s #dailyCable #Cableaday

Just read Midnight X-Men #1. I really enjoyed it. I picked up these covers. That Fright Night Homage 👌🏼I really hope they bring in a Vampire hunting Cable 👊. The fact that one particular character is in the issue…it might not be too farfetched! #xmen #midnightxmen #comics #marvel #marvelcomics
