Never count yourself out, boys. Even an elite babe like Madison Beer loves a loser who’s bad at his job. Send that 10/10 a DM.

WAIT did this asshole really just narc his own state government to ICE for I-9 verification issues, potentially putting taxpayers on the hook for millions in fines, in the name of cutting waste? Our elected leaders should be good stewards of our money, not scoring revenge points.
Outgoing Texas Comptroller @DonHuffines says an audit uncovered decades of failures to verify employee work eligibility. Huffines is now calling on President Trump to send ICE into EVERY government agency in Texas.

Colom's resume of being based as shit is incredible. Not only did he put a bunch of murderers in prison but he specifically directed resources to cold cases and got life sentences for rapes and murders that were 20-30 years old. If Cindy Hyde-Smith didn't lie about this gigachad secretly being a pro-crime Soros DA he'd be contentedly granting death sentences to murderers instead of her political career
Holy shit, I didn't realize Scott Colom was denied a federal judgeship because Cindy Hyde-Smith blocked his nomination by lying about his connections to George Soros hahahahaha If she hadn't done that he'd be a district judge and instead he's going to beat her in a Senate race and become the first black Senator from Mississippi since 1870. Nobody has ever been owned this hard by poetic justice The mills of God grind slowly/yet grind exceeding small

“I’m a Texan … I’ve been here since 2018.” Another non-Texan telling native Texans what to believe. These retards really believed conservative media’s depiction of Texas as a hateful, intolerant place & this how they talk to us when they realize it’s not. Fucking grifters, man.
Texans… you failed us

Holy shit. We really are about to start a brand new era in Texas.
Don't sleep on the four Texas Supreme Court races. As of right now, it's a clean sweep for Dems. More votes to count though.

It never sat right with me that NON-TEXANS Patrick/Paxton/Cruz came in to our great state to stoke division & wage culture wars all while lecturing us about what we should stand for. They took property rights/personal freedoms away & gave us data centers & H-1B-majority cities.

The Texas I grew up in was deeply conservative, yes, but was friendlier, more pragmatic, & almost had an unofficial "live and let live" ethos about people's personal lives & choices in the 90s-00s. Texas deserves leaders who focus on OUR problems, not meaningless bullshit issues.

This is a huge factor in today’s results. Abbott/Patrick/Paxton/Cruz all came into power and later aligned with MAGA together. They were always more arrogant than past leaders, but more recently they acted like they were invincible as they did here. Finally caught up to them.
Fox News just called out Greg Abbott directly to his face on why he and Ken Paxton refused to debate their opponents in the Texas Senate and Gubernatorial races. He stumbles big time in answering the question.

Still not sure why so many non-Texans I follow seemed so sure Talarico would lose. I live in Paxton's home county and there's been zero enthusiasm for his campaign here. I never expected a blue wave in Texas but I knew Paxton was just too much of a corrupt piece of shit to win.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from the recent private jet crash in Florida, it’s that Gulfstream jets have a strong safety track record whereas Lear jets do not.
Long post worth the read. I have a close friend who flies private jets. He flew Lear 60 for over 15 years and now flies a Gulfstream. This is a copy and paste of his response to me asking him if I thought Ice was the issue. “We always fly in ridiculous cold temperatures.” “Usually you get the bad ice when the temperatures are like 0 to negative 20. Believe it or not, there's a point where it gets too cold for ice. At negative 40, you pretty much can't get ice. Besides that, the airplane is equipped with hot wings and hot tail.” “I flew the Lear 60 for like 15 years. It's a no joke airplane and probably the most dangerous airplane I've ever flown. It has a super critical wing. The airflow has to be perfect. When it gets into rough air and turbulence, it will easily stall. It has stalled on me at 41,000 feet just because we got into some turbulence. (On the way to Palm Beach as a matter of fact. ) we recovered and got her flying again around 30,000 ft. Scary But here's the problem. This airplane has a terrible coffin corner. (At high altitudes) what that means is, you fly in a really narrow window where if you lose 20 knots, it stalls. And if you gain 20 knots, it goes into overspeed. The air goes supersonic over the wing and it goes into a high speed stall, or worse, a Mach tuck. So if you stall, the normal recovery is to push the yoke forward to lower the nose and gain air speed again. At low altitude, you can push really hard and recover quickly. But in the 60... if you push hard, it will gain air speed and go into a high speed stall, it doesn't take much. It's very sensitive. The 60 has super short wings that don't make much lift. So then you high speed stall, and the computer is yelling at you... OVERSPEED! So then you pull back and enter a low speed stall. And you go back and forth trying to keep it in the air speed window. This whole thing is pretty scary. And you should recover basically by using your finger tips using super small corrections. You can't over do it. If you try to muscle the recovery, she gets mad and will become unrecoverable. If she enters a mach tuck. You're done.” “I taught the Lear 60 to other pilots and mentored them. I told them... this airplane has a soul and it's trying to kill you. Do not ever try to top the weather. Don't go over a thunderstorm. Go around it. If it means a half hour longer, then do it. Going over the thunderstorm will go into turbulence that you might not recover from. These pilots went right over a thunderstorm. I think it stalled which caused them to drop down into the thunderstorm and ended up in mach tuck. They picked up so much speed that it ripped off the horizontal stabilizer. At that point... chuck Yeager can't fix it. These same pilots did something similar a couple months ago. ATC got mad at them. They poked the bear one too many times. This is not a beginner airplane. The Gulfstream would never do this. It has HUGE margins of error and won't stall like that. But then again... it's got HUGE wings. It's a pussy cat. The Gulfstream is like driving a 4 wheeler. The Lear 60 is like riding a uni cycle.”

This is why we call it the “Pilot In Command” This happened in the same vicinity where the ill-fated Lear Jet hit the storm cell. JetBlue pilot en route from Fort Lauderdale to Austin says to ATC: “So you're gonna make us go through a, uh, severe thunderstorm?” The captain then commanded the situation and overrode the ATC: “So we declare an emergency, making a left turn heading 260 for severe weather avoidance.” Sometimes piloting demands a specific set of traits - decisiveness, independent judgment, and the backbone to reject an instruction when it doesn’t feel right. Refusing the assigned heading showed exactly that kind of assertive leadership. Whoever is pilot monitoring must make these tough calls but ultimately, the captain is the final authority and ultimately accountable for every soul on board.

Hey @Chilis wanna work out a deal?
Attorney friends: Has anyone successfully bartered for trade services? I’ve got a $22K quote to replace a 50-year old cast iron sewer line in my house from a company that has several legal needs. Any advice or insight?
