Well, I can finally let this out into the world! I'm the alternate cover artist for Black Hammer: Spiral City #3, due out in Jan 2025 from @DarkHorseComics . I've been sitting on this for quite some time, so glad to finally share it! darkhorse.com/Comics/3013-71…

Please share this link, where Dorothy meets Alice,
In a magical adventure full of wonder and malice.
A retweet costs nothing, it's just a small click,
But could help my book take off rather quick!

From the collection:
Grogg is kickin' some ass here on the cliffside. These guys should probably be running; because if the planes aren't getting it done, rifles and pitchforks likely aren't making a dent, either.
Where does Grogg dwell? Wherever he damn well pleases.
Who doesn't need some Hulk in their day?
Took a break from my current project to do a sketch cover. These covers DO NOT like thin washes used on them. But, it turned out in the realm of what I wanted.
I'll have this with me this weekend at Albany Comic Con
Some artwork for this brisk Sunday morning:
Deathlok sketch cover from last year. These things are very tricky to work on.
From the collection:
All these monsters have to dwell somewhere, might as well be in my collection. This issue reprints Tales of Suspense 16. I prefer the orginal cover, but I can understand the re-coloring, as they would have wanted some eye-catching hues to draw the eye in.
Take. My. Money.

I've always loved this Gil Kane cover. It would have grabbed my attention as a kid, that's for sure. This book had been VERY elusive to me in high grade. This one is about a VF+ and presents nicely, but I'm always on the lookout for a nicer one.
As October continues, time for some creature art from the art-chives.
This piece was a lot of fun to paint, and has been a good seller at shows. I even hand lettered it!
From the collection:
Cap, Falcon, Mr. Hyde and the Scorpion all in one book? Yes, please! And with that dynamic Sal Buscema cover, what kid wouldn't want to grab this off the spinner rack and bring it home?
If anyone were to ask me " what is an underrated or under appreciated book " Tomb of Dracula would be first on my list.
Cover art by Gil Kane and Tom Palmer. This cover is very similar in design to the iconic Batman 227, which was published two years prior in 1970.
From the collection:
This was my very first Mavel Treasury Edition. As you can see, it's seen some use. All my childhood comics are long gone, I somehow held onto all of my treasuries.
I have a couple of really nice copies, but this one is my favorite, old yellow tape and all.
Had some down days while I'm waiting for rough approvals on my current project. I hadn't painted in over a month, so I figured it was a good idea to " shake out the cobwebs " and get a little something done.

New addition to the collection:
The Master Mold finds out the hard way that the Hulk is not to be messed with. Once ol' greenskin decided that MM needed some smashing, he was on a mission to make that happen.
