Not even sure why I back pack sprayed the “fence line “…..Seems pointless, but wanted a clean cut on the header without spreading viable weed seeds. Had been done 2 months ago which is why the alley is still visible.
I pray that these flowers make something. Pretty variable throughout the water holes from June, but somewhat optimistic as well as pessimistic. As of now, I think I’m below average for the farm.
Does anyone in south Lambton or north C-K have any experience with Freedom mobile? They say there is a tower in Chatham and Sarnia which makes me think coverage would be sketchy. Would appreciate any feedback.
It’s June now so, to hell with it. Home farm is actually not bad. Trench is closing and good moisture. Not excited for the next farm though. Will give that one a couple of days.
Just listened to “The Rest of The Story” on FB. While doing chores in my teens, I would stop dead in my tracks when it came on.
One of those memories that take you back I guess.
Pretty sad that my local county library will not accept book donations. I was advised to take the to a thrift store, or see if the hospital would like them. If anyone in south Lambton knows where they can be used without reselling. Please let me know.
An interesting day it was! Personal best on the home farm and 20 bushel better than expected on the share crop farm. Was lucky to get it off with such a small pocket that didn’t get a fair amount of snow. Planning for ‘26 begins. Safe harvest everyone!
