Trump's Iran war was not only a strategic failure, but an operational defeat: US air and naval power failed to destroy Iran's missile and drone force. Iran closed Hormuz, US could not reopen it. This was a war lost on the battlefield first, at the negotiating table only second.

Those $300 billion will not go to any civilian purpose. They will be used to rebuild and resupply the IRGC.
The sanction relief and unfrozen assets will be used towards exactly the same end.
Normal Iranians will not see a cent.
