Analysis of #Millwall transfer window. Overall thoughts are squad looks stronger albeit now maybe lacking in wide attacking areas (that opinion hasn't changed post-Wrexham). Azeez fee feels skinny + a chaotic deadline day but more pros than cons overall: marshonmillwall.substack.com…

Chris Wood this could have all been yours if you'd signed

That's gotta be Kaaaane

Few #Millwall thoughts following Pompey game. Another less than stellar day + very few emerge with credit. Not many players hitting the heights of last season but perhaps the bigger concern is how nobody seems to be filling that Femi Azeez talisman role: marshonmillwall.substack.com…

#Millwall definitely more potent these days (today aside) but now look a soft touch defensively. Both goals today incredibly poor. Been lots of positive evolution over the past 18 months but we also look just about as un-Millwall as can be defensively, which is concerning.

Had my hands full with mini Marsh No 3 over the past few weeks hence the radio silence on here + Substack but will be back sharing some #Millwall thoughts on today's game at some point tomorrow/Monday for subscribers. Hopefully I'll be talking about a big fat win.

Sickener of an ending but absolutely mega first half. Was one of those occasions that absolutely lives up to the hype. Obviously didn't all go our way but to a man don't think anybody let us down today given what it meant. Break and go again #Millwall

We're a goooood team Jay

Lots to dissect from that #Millwall and sadly not much of it good. 4-4-2 was ultra effective in opening games + we looked v good and more of an attacking threat, but do we have the right personnel to persevere with it atm? Not sure. Desperately need the break but big week ahead.

Exclusive interview with West Brom's Jimmy-Jay Morgan. 20yo striker is EFL YPOTM for August after blistering start to life in the Championship for #WBA. Morgan says last summer he had no options on the table on deadline day. Plenty has changed since then. mirror.co.uk/sport/football/…

Far more pros than cons for #Millwall despite exit from the League Cup vs Newcastle. Certainly didn't feel like a loss at the end. The last few days have well and truly cured that Southampton-Wrexham hangover. A bit lighter than usual but some thoughts: marshonmillwall.substack.com…

Proper effort that. Caleb Taylor and Jake Cooper both immense in that first half when we were really up against it + we improved a lot after the break. But that was some outing for Jordi Osei-Tutu, who is already looking like a very shrewd bit of business. Was class. #Millwall
