2 fighters in 🇯🇵 passed away from brain injuries a couple weeks ago. This is a reminder of how dangerous this sport really is and how much fighters put at stake for their career. & for that reason, always check gloves before sparring, make sure they are well padded and not worn!

Today marks 8 years since being in a medically induced coma from a Title Boxing Match that I had lost and which ended my career. I have since traveled the world, learned new skills, made an impact on the youth, and taught the sport I almost gave my life for. #wedontplayboxing
