As yesterday ended in GVA and NY, so did 2 intercessional meetings on the #PandemicAccord and 2 days of negotiations on the High-Level Political Declaration.
No public statements on either. Not even a tweet. Are pandemics now top-secret business?
Did governments miss the🎯that transparency fosters trust?
🗓 WHO scheduled informal intercessional hybrid meetings to discuss the text of the #PancemicAccord for June 22, 26th and 30th and July 3rd, 5th and 6th.
Once again, the schedule overlaps with the NY UNGA pandemic High-Level Political Declaration discussions (June 26-27).

In a new study, we explore the use of cash and non-cash incentives to improve adult vaccination coverage.
At the population level, most were not effective.
Where effective, they improved coverage by a few percentage points at best.

In 2017, JYNNEOS studied the safety & effectiveness of its monkeypox vaccine among health workers in the DRC.
Results are not yet available — nor is the vaccine.
